I thought this was interesting and it does indeed seem quite unlikely just using 3 phases for the GPU. Especially because of the heavily criticised 4+2 VRM on the reference GTX 570. But then again, there is no information about the phases themselves or the power consumption of the GK104. If true this is probably just an early sample board and I doubt the finalized product will use less than 4 phases for the GPU.Quote:

They got briefed, they got the reference design and the production of the cards is staring as we speak. It looks like most of the cards available at launch are going to look alike, with different cooling from some partners, but the non-reference partner cards will come a bit later.
Nvidia should be ready to release GK104 by April, but we are not aware of any solid date at this time. Jensen did mention that Nvidia had some lower than expected 28nm yields but also clarified that it is nothing like the transition to 40nm a few years back.

2 - A day after VRZone talks about the TDP and mentions that Kepler is ready since Q3/11
3rd FUD says that is already in production and that the partners already receive copies
Maybe the GK107 videos are not fake, attention to this.
As discussed before:
- DXdiag on the initial video report driver 295.73 as driver: no GK107 support listed in this driver ( easy to add a line anyway for include it ( more probable a driver should have been given with the card, and this will not be the 295.73 )..
- Name of the card who is not really plausible for an ES. ( easy to change the name in the gpu bios )
- Score exactly similar of a GF104-114 ( including feature test of Vantage ( pixelrate etc.).. probably a GF104 renamed... ( bios ).
- video removed on You tube and account closed by users.
etc etc ..
Still maybe its not a fake, but there's not so much reason to believe it. ( i will be happy if it is not a fake, i just report what was allready discussed in b3d and different forums )

This result did not convince me, a VGA that does not use extra power to be better than the GTX 460/HD6850? If this is true we lost with the prices they charge Nvidia, because it will be much higher than the competing AMD.
