well I guess if I ever went quad sli I will be needing a few more pumps lol.
I'll be cooling three GTX 480s with three of the winning block (or reasonably-priced block within 1-2C or so of the winner), setup is:
MicroRes > MCP655B > XSPC RX360 > GTX 480s > XSPC RX360 > Repeat
Does anyone see any problems with restriction with this setup?
Put the GPUs in parallel and even most restrictive blocks won't mean much in terms of overall restriction. Not that it really matters since your GPUs are the only things in the loop anyway.
Skinnee, OT question, but hows the fixing of the layout of the Skinneelabs site going?
Chrome or Webkit browser User? :shakes:
It seems like you're not a chrome fan ?
Hey, Skinnee, I figure the EK and Danger Den blocks are in the top, and about 1-3C close to each other, so, I went ahead got 3 of the cheaper. :D
Not a bad decision, right?
2x rx360 is perfectly fine for 3x480 IMO
I think a single 3x120 rad is fine for three GTX480s :sofa:
Not ideal, but acceptable.
Uh oh, I have 2 aquacomputer blocks on order that haven't shipped yet. Can't wait to see the results.
Aquacomputer's FC-GPU blocks traditionally have performed quite well, just not with this level of restriction. Should be more than acceptable.
I second that.
Yes a triple does in fact work just fine. I have a HWLabs GTX 480 but have yet to swap it out with my PA 120.3 yet in part because I don't think my temps will get much better. With my cards at 850/2100 at stock voltage they idle at 33C and fully loaded never get over 55C.
