Hey guys,
I can't seem to get this stable over 1068MHZ.. I bought this 2009, do the earlier batches OC better?

And to answer the other question: Yes, the earlier batches overclock much better.
Still very good memory for the price, but these days I'd go with the 1100MHz kit instead, for a better bin. :)
Can someone who managed to OC these sticks to more than stock 1000MHz to post the timings as well as the sub-timings? It would be great help really.
My mobo is a Gigabyte EP35-DS3P and I could only manage to run the sticks with stock settings (5-5-5-15 and subs auto and some manually like TRFC to 60). Anything above 1000MHz would crash or not boot at all.
Thanks in advance.
Some of these sticks just don't overclock well it seems. I've bought 4 pairs over the past 9 months and none of them OC well. All do the rated DDR2-1000 5-5-5-15/2.1v but won't go more than 1015 I think the best was, one pair failed testing at 1005 but 100% stable at 1000. Read every post in this thread from day one and tried everything, even a myriad of motherboards - just unlucky I guess.
Never the less, superb value for the bandwidth and most do run at tightened subtimings on my P45 and P35 boards, eg: http://www2.vaporised.com/gallery/bo.../Win7.png.html - my three workstations run same settings on P35-DS3R, P35C-DS3R & EP35C-DS3R. Your board is similar so may suffer from low volts to the dimms that one of mine has - what does everest read as vdimm? Is it close to the bios setting? One of mine is like 0.15v lower (2.1 bios gives 1.95 everest, 1.97 measured with crude multimeter).
Also remember to check your trd setting when OCing FSB, these boards are silly picky if it's too tight. My P35's wunt go any lower than 8 beyond 400FSB but held at 8 til 500. Although I love the Gigabyte P35/P45 boards, they are picky with memory timings/straps/voltages etc etc compared to other boards. GB seem to not let things even try to boot, others let it boot and then fail in tests :)
No help I know, but may help explain your poor overclock.
Tell me what minimal timings I can put for G.Skill F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ on frequency 956 Mhz at 2.1-2.2 Vdram and what to expose others timings?
Now i test 5-4-3-12 Vdram 2.2 prime95 30 minutes all ok. But I think that an error will be fast
