um, fugger is a poopy head.
Good job Fugger, but it would look a lot more professional if someone checked at least the front page for spelling errors:p:
wow 4Ghz... What a fugger...
very nice.. love the fsb
nice as hell dude!
when can we se som ln2 and extreme superpi results? :D
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! 4ghz unmodded is really good.... i hope also 5ghz is within reach.
5ghz is a golden clock for a conroe.
have you tested 3dmark 06 yet?
Shoit!
Nice work Fugger!!! :toast:
-A.
I believe there was talk of how the Conroe XE will be 2.93Ghz stock with unlocked multi able to do 4ghz on air...
Perkam
i have heard about a 3,33ghz XE. but the most extreme edition user have better cooling then just air, specially the netrbust dualcore users :P .
~400 FSB will be possible with higher multiplyers? ex. 15x ?
wow, that might make an Intel lover out of me.. ;)

5ghz conroe xe will do superpi at less than 10s most likely.Quote:

Beautiful chip!
Total power!
When a test under DICE or DualCascade?:D
The appropriate term for pre-release or sample processors is ES or "engineering sample", alpha and beta are stages in software development.Quote:

Perkam
so 4ghz was single core how badly did this hurt its performance??
5ghz at this point sound difficult to reach with both cores IMO
I think it is more like 4.3GHz....Quote:

I don't know whether it was posted here. Either here or at THG Forums...
Let us be just realistic here.Quote:

DFi might get you an Extra 5% tops but that wont give 4.3Ghz.. Maybe 4.2 Tops.. but this is the Best Conroe, given to one of the best Intel Overclockers on Earth, Toss in phase and All the Help he got from Intel.. My guess is the wall is around 3.4-3.6Ghz for conroeQuote:

I'll go with actual, empirical test benches rather than your "guess." Coolaler was hitting 3.5+ on air with stock volts.
Speachless? :confused:Quote:

Im speachless...
My A0 chip is not cherry picked at all, luck of the draw and both chips of the same batch were nearly the exact same for OC on air.
B stepping is far superior to my chip and the shipping retails are even better.
Where did nn_step get the info that this chip is a center spin?? It is impossible to tell what part of the wafer these were from.
Nice work Fugger. Conroe has a bright future regardless of what the amd fanboys think :D
