looks promising. and good thing that i wasn't planning on upgrading untill late fall anyway :D
Anyone notice if certain brands overclock better then others? Here in Sweden the Sapphire card is a whole lot cheaper then Powercolor, Gebube and others.
im on Sapphire tomorrow.. will report back how it works (x1900GT)
Oh hey cool...let us know for sure :DQuote:

I recently bought a X1900GT sapphire
good but not great results
600/720 at stock voltage (10.7K in 3dmark2k5)
I tried to use overclocker to increase voltage but it didn't work : can not read vga bios or somehting like this
I'm running win2k3 and with the compatibility XP mode, it has finally worked :D
1.35V GPU, watercooled card, 675/720 11.4k in 3dmark
Couldn't do 700 for GPU, it's a bit hot here in SW of France, even for watercooling (25-30°C ambiant temp) ;)
my card rocked at 732 core at 1,5.. but then at 1,55 vgpu it blacked out.. now I cant see temp in ati driver.. What can I do? I gave more voltage in overclocker
You tryed to fry the core, didnt ya? :eek:Quote:

.... so how does the 732 rock in 3dmark 05, 06, etc ? :toast:
the hunt for more pipes went a lot faster with the X1800GTO (although no success), cuz the X1900gt isnt that available? :stick:
to owners: post some atitool screenies ... let's investigate .....
749/747 now on water... 1,525 vgpu using atitool for GT:. working smoothly
ok, i sold my :banana::banana::banana:ty x1800gto, due to non increase in voltage.. now im waiting on my x1900GT, who will be here shortly:rolleyes: (2 weeks)
but never mind that, im whant to have some updates on the card, like does ATI tool work with the card? what do you get at stock and OC in 3dmark 05 and 06?
thanks
my card rocks... stable at 749/940
wow! high on the mem! ... is it stable?Quote:

nice OC ---:toast:
Zobogorgon, send me the x1900GT BIOS. There are a few things I can give you to try out. Also, I need to know 2d volts/clocks and 3d volts/clocks. Thanks.
no 1,4 for example is 712 max here... but 945 on mem is nice.. 900 for 24 / 7
I'm guessing the 900mhz is with Overclocker (loosened timings), right?
If it's ATI Tool, then that's fckin amazing :D

seems that overclocking this card doesnt net much performance increases.
http://www.pureoverclock.com/review.php?id=36&page=8
maybe around 3 frames with the clocks at 650/720
maybe 5-6 frames with yalls overclocks.
Ha, that's bc Pure Overclock sucks @$$ at overclocking. I gained 10+fps easy
here are my last results with my sapphire x1900gt :
http://metalazz0.free.fr/X1900GT_05_12061.jpg
~2k pts gain compared to stock frequencies
http://metalazz0.free.fr/X1900GT_06_5037.jpg
~500 pts gain compared to stock frequencies... I need an AMD DC :D
on the other hand, this card sux big time at 3dmark 03 :/
~18.3k at 700/800 with 146@3GHz
m8s my oc is in atitool for GT, so 940 is fully stable, just say if you want a atitool run for an hour for example
testing right know at 742/945 and my temps on water is great. about 42 on full load on gpu, volt reg gets alot hotter
have you tried CCC vs. OMEGA. I use CCC maybe OMEGA will give higher results?Quote:

My card can max 775/945 on fullcover waterblock Ek and xtreme air cooling on volt reg, okay I think at 1,575 vgpu, need more volt because load temp on gpu is 45 on water:)
