the MD5 should be [80b38488e4120faff8752d18833db8bc]
if and only if they match perfectly do you have a proper download.
Then you just burn the Data as an ISO image not as DATA.
you can use programs such as Nero, K3B, or a Temp tool such as alcohol 120
The label the disc whatever you like so that you will be able to identify it later.
Then to install the OS, just insert the disc into your primary CD drive, and set your computer to boot into your CD drive first.
If you need more help or have specific questions feel free to ask :D
oh and if you continue to have problems I can upload it in a format that has built in error correction :D
Ive been doing this for a while, myself. I had Pro down to 101 mb one time, but had problems with my X-Fi drivers, theyd work one time and not work another.Quote:
I have began stripping windows XP
Are you stripping server 2003, aswell? I tryed that aswell and had problems with Windowblinds on it. Server 2003 just doesnt work well at all, when modified.
Are you using nlite?
Yes we are also working on a version of Enterprise Server 2003. So that unlike windows Xp you will not be limited by two Cores (or 4 virtual) but by 64 cores or (128 Virtual) and to remove the 3.6Gb limit of Xp and give it a 256GB of Ram limit (which should last for a long time) with a dozen( or more ;) ) Hacks in the works to help improve Benchmarking scores, gaming, ease of use, and simplify setup (we are working to make it so that you will never need a Floppy disk to install windows onto any computer plus a few other features)Quote:

When completed we will have the Public and XS versions.
the Public will be the same as the XS version minus a few extra features and tools that we will be adding to greatly improve the performance of the systems. And as our current Alpha testers will agree.. there is a Performance advantage even at this early stage of developement..

Well, adding support for themes and other "enhancements" that falls in that category will not be prioritized at all...we are looking for performance, and performance only.Quote:

Actually Themes Service is still functionable but has been hidden just because of the added load on resources if started.

I just attempted to install this on my main workstation as a dual-boot with XP SP2. I did the F6 to install 3rd party drivers, as I run a RAID, and that went fine. I set WINDOWS2 as the install dir, and let it do it's thing. It then started complaining that it could not copy over the driver for my RAID? I said whatever, and pressed esc a few times until it started installing the OS files. It then rebooted, but no menu came up to select between the multiple OSes...just booted into XP. I figured the RAID support must be hacked out, so I'd just remove any entries into boot.ini and wipe WINDOWS2/, but sadly, my default install now BSOD's on boot. :( No idea how that could happen, but yeah, it's broke now. Posting from my laptop on Gentoo Linux....working on repairing my install. I'm not sure if RAID support or 3rd party driver support was removed, but if it was, I recommend it be put back in. :(
Edit: I just realised it was stripped down XP, not 2003, so I checked and sure enough, all it did was set WINDOWS2 as the default OS and booted instantly under the Windows XP name/splash screen. Basically, that was the install BSOD'ing, not my default one, due to no RAID drivers. I was able to boot into last known good config to the second XP install then change boot.ini hack to WINDOWS instead of WINDOWS2. The problem with my RAID drivers still remains unsolved though.
Noted, I'll see what I can do to fix that for you. Probably should try to remove the need for Floppy raid disks altogether while I'm at it...Quote:

Thus you may want to downgrade to WindowBlinds 4x!
I heard that WindowBlinds 5x is more bloated. WindowBlinds 4x seems to still do the job.
As of right now we are not using WindowBLinds nor do we currently plan on using it. Should we decide to Strip out the GUI and put something new in.. I'll be sure to let you guys know...Quote:

But hey, i have sonic, can I make it from there, in make data discs, there is an option, burn immage. Is that what it is, or should I actually bother to install nero trial?
Burn image is what you want to use.
as long as you burn the Image.. it'll work if not then install the trial.Quote:

V1.1 is now available, now make sure to down load the ones with V1.1 in the name. Read me follows:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some more cleaning up has been done.
Also added a switch for online/offline mode, they are located at "Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\Communications\Network Switch"
What they do is switching on/off DHCP client and Network connections, normally you should only need to wait 5s and your online....worst scenario requires reboot..(not likely)
The autologon switch has been fixed, sorry for that!
Try the other switches too...located in "Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\System Tools"
More switches to come, give suggestions!!
Nvidia SATA Raid drivers are now present, if asked on install browse to $OEM$\$1\Drivers\nvraid...please report back on functionality.
..ATI drivers coming up.
Installtime should be 5-8 min + 1 extra reboot!
You will be given choice of computername and regional settings during install, if you change admin password you need change valu in Autologon Switch regfile accordingly.
/team

Those of you who wish for us to fully support ATi raid natively are in for some bad news. ATi makes a windows 2000 and a windows XP driver, but they do not and REFUSE to make a windows 2003 server driver. So until Microsoft makes one, you are all SOL. But those of you with nVidia, ULI, Promise, or Intel raid.. you are in luck they do have working 2003 Server drivers.
Hey, for the benchmarking windows, it worrk really good so far, but is it supposed to have the classic windows look only?
Downloaded installed  . Installed autopatcher april full, patched perfectly full security patch with updated components only =2gb. Threw in windows media player 10 to see if it would install and did. Installed Norton I.S. 2006 worked perfect. Installed "royal theme"-perfect.
No codecs so I installed cole2k codecs for the hell of it (first one I could grab) cyberlink dvd encoder= bsd, uninstalled cyberlink codec installed intervideo (option of 2 in the pack) worked perfect watched a dvd.
Seems alot zippier and more responsive than the full bloatware. Gonna test some more then bench. I like the no welcome screen and no windows audio on starup. Starts up quick. Gonna try nero tomorrow and then some benches.
Installed on an asus p4 setup with no problems at all with any drivers so far. Sis chipset sata1 hd.
Feels like a wn2k install (but sexiness of xp):)
D/L'ing now. This should be interesting to play with...
great work nn, im pumped to try this out.
ive needed something like this for quite a while but my nlite installs always BSOD' if i removed components.
BTW, i downloaded this in 2min 7 sec :O
A new record for my connection.
Yeah, my hosting powns I can see :D.
