Yes........:)Quote:

George we need a better score. we need to push everything to the absolute limit. you where gone when i arrived @ the lab today. how was the evap temp when ati tool showed -83?
im checking if i can get more LN2 friday. (damn we need smth like a 300lt dewar)
lol I'd like to see your lab where a bunch of clockers are benching, modding, partying etc :D :p:
I don't think H2O would benefit from more than 1.575V the max ATI Tool provides but I suppose there might be a few cards that can handle it.
Thanks again hipro & congrats on the first 1Ghz benchable ATI core :toast:
-98*C.........Quote:

hipro5, if I understand this good, u are only putting Vcore up so gpu gets hotter and u are no longer in bug zone, or just less.
Right. Those are 'just' hardmods for more voltage (and heat), or did I mis something here? :s
It's really no different than the special BIOS'es that were run @ Ibezia on X1800's that fired up with 1.4v default before entering 3D mode, just that hipro's version is hard and allows higher voltages overall.
Well all the extra voltage gives it more power/stability and it is able to handle the cold. It also causes the core to put out more heat wattage etc.Quote:

Thanks M8.......BUT 60k are too difficult to be done with this setup.....Maybe with Yonah.......;)Quote:

Dam i did the mod today and my card is now dead...... When i start it shoves 0,01v too the core ..... took of the mods but still the same :(
Somthing went wrong :(
No datasheet, that sucks man :( Nice find from you. :toast:Quote:

But hey, ATI cards can again be puched a little further now, that's always something good to hear :)
MickeyMouse slave is also dead after the mod :(Quote:

thats sucks Overklokk:( , wonder whats failure with youre mods
I would guess that the problem is probably the ammount of heat which was used to solder to the Vgpu resistor. The resistor would be very easy to kill with too much heat, considering its size. I've done it myself, and its very easily done :(
Edit: Great work on the mods, Hipro :)
i hope thate the mod dos not kill more cards thate it helps to kille the cold bug :) , my is on is way to jort , hes gone mod it and thene il put it onder mach2 ;) cold with ccc whase -12°c
Could u resolve your problem by replacing it?Quote:
