True enough that even within the same weeks there are variations. I have seen folks with nice 0301 oc's, just not as many of them.Quote:

I traded my 2100 xp 0301 for a 0302 and it hits a little higher mhz at default voltage, almost 2200mhz so i'm keeping this new one instead.
You need more OC, brainstorm.. im gonna catch you when I get some decent ram, lol 8-)
i woulda got a 2100...
i got 2 2650 with 2.1 vcore... was 2200 stock... prommie cooled
Actually, you've already caught me at the moment. I had to RMA my SLK-800, so I'm only running my 2100+ at about 2ghz until I get a new one back. But it is at default voltage (the EPOX fluctuates between 1.60-1.62) :DQuote:

ok just went looking and BAM firts store AXDA1700DUT3C
JUIHB 0302 well i have to do some things before i can sit down and see what it can do ill let ya know
PS this chip is brown i see alot of green ones any diff??
Theres a rumor of browns doing better.. but gotta wait to see 8-)
2083 1.70-1.74v.. my EPOS fluctuates, too.. 8-)
What temps were you getting with that SLK? I think my "little" cooler is keeping up with the badboys
Ok ran it up just for fun so i started at 2250mhz and runs fine been playing some games for 1/2 hour and ran 3d mark so im just gona let it burn in at 2250 then see what it realy do
It depended on what speed and voltage I was running through the chip. At 2200 and 1.81v, I want to say I was getting about 38 degrees under load measured in socket (f'ing Epox should have implemented d@mn on-die diode temps, but didn't) with system temp showing about 32. Also don't forget it's with a 42.5 cfm Sunon, which is actually pretty quiet. Anyway, I can let you know for sure when I get a new one back.Quote:

my 8k3a reads from diode for sure as i have 37C idle cpu temps with 25C h20
Mines a rev 1.2 and I think the diode seems to be correct.. hit 39c yesterday when I turned off my side fans 8-)
50cfm 80mm sunon on a Dr.Thermal TiV77n.. lapped. 8-)
EDIT
Whats a good bios for the 8K3A+? Mines old enough it doesnt recognize the CPU at over 2ghz, lol 8-)
whoo!
Just had one arrive this morning
JIUHB 0302WPMW
I'm thinking 2.3ghz on air?
UPDATE: Just wacked it in, currently doing 2100mhz (200x10.5) at 1.75v!
Doing some stabiltiy tests, then upping it more, temps are about 30c load!
Thats with Alpha PAL 8045 and Delta 80mm at 3500rpm
I'm definatley selling away my Jiucb 0251 and getting a Jiuhb 0302, gotta go put it on ad now ;)
Or, I might keep the Jiucb and get a Jiuhb anyways.
Should be able to get some nice oc, but still I have to Voltmod my mobo, It'll only give 1.7V Vcore.
If you're getting 2100 with 1.75, you might be able to get 2300 with around 1.95-2.00v or maybe a bit less if you're lucky. At a certain point you start getting rapidly diminishing returns for your voltage increases. My 2100+ will do 2ghz at default, 2.2 takes 1.81v, 2.3 takes 1.925v. You look like you might be running just about that or maybe just a tad behind that curve. But that's pretty nice for a 1700+ :)Quote:

Hey guys....
I sell pretested CPUs specialy Tbreads here in Slovenia so I can tell you a lot right now.I will get arround 10 or more CPUs tomorow and I can tell you a whole lot when I get them.I am currently running a 1700+ JUIHB 0304 and it does 2150mhz on 1.7V Prime stable.
these are the chips I will be getting from now on and I hope that I will have more luck than with chips made in the year 2002 becouse I had a lot of CPUs that didnt do 2ghz @1.7V then...
I also have realy pos CPUs like a brother of morphlings CPU that cant even do 2ghz no matter what.
It still depends on luck but with 10 CPUS in the same rig I will be able to test the difference...
I have a 2100+ AIUHB 0304 here too but its nothing special..maybe does 2200mhz @1.7V or so... gonna sell it 2morow.
I just threw my JIUHB 0203 into my rig yesterday. I can run it over 2Ghz@1.6v. I get 2.31Ghz@1.95v (Prime95 stable) but my motherboard won't let me go any further. Despite watercooling my northbridge, I can't get past 185FSB reliably .
Temps don't pass 35C on the Epox CPU sensor.
Same here. I'm stuck at the same speed because my board crashes past 185 FSB. I think I'll have to do a mod for higher multipliers.Quote:

KnightElite,
Sorry to hear about your woes, but it's good to hear that I'm not the only one having this problem. Fortunately, the RAID on my board isn't working, so I'm gonna RMA it sometime soon. Hopefully the one I get back will do a lot better.
Update, now running 2252 @ 1.875v(1.888 actual)
Should be able ot hit 2300 with 1.9v, maybe even 2350.
Temps are about 37C at load. I know my old pally used to crash out at about 56C, anyone know about these??
gobbo, good luck! But this is about where I would expect you to start hitting the wall. I know it's where I did. :(Quote:

37 is still an ok temp. You ought to be able to stand at least 5 more degrees without issue.
Heh I took of my Volcano 7 and found out I have a 0302 so my CPU is same as gobbo's...it even performs as his so...
I am doing 2260mhz right now with 1.85V.
wow, these are amazing CPU's, i'm almost tempted to buy watercooling and hold off my 9700 Pro just to see how well this chip can do with some decent cooling:D
Well I dont think so gobbo these cpus are kind of dogs..no mather what the voltage is you will not see much improvement...Quote:

Maybe I will get 2.5Ghz with H2O but that is all...
The older week 51 JUIHB's did better liek the one morphling has...
Its freezing here so I'll open my dors later and try to realy xtreme aircool it and show 2V on it...then you will no how far you will come if you slap WC on it...
