Because this night I'm bored, I will do a heavy Google search for OPNs, Steppings and Serial Numbers. For now...

SDA3000DIO2BP LBBLY 0525 MPMW Y936147G507xx
SDA3000DIO2BP LBBLY 0527 BPFW Z724327G505xx

If the fifth letter in those Socket 939 Semprons is related to the Revision, what the X and Y means? On the other hand, there are some Semprons Rev. DH-D0 (Winchester based) that may or may not have x86-64 support enabled. The Processor OPN for both version is the same, what changes is the OPN of the Box (One is BA and the other CV), but there must be some way to know if it brings or not x86-64 by checking on the Stepping or Serial Number.
Well, LMK if you do find out....it'd be interesting since I'm 99.999999% sure this info is NDA ;)Quote:

i'm gonna agree on that one.Quote:

1288864G50001
how they all relate, and if that's even a correct assumption remains to be seen.
the red seems to indicate overall performance? lower appears to be better overall.. though there's also letters. i thought Z was bad, but it appears that this is untrue.
the yellow bit, G5.. seems to have a trend. my old clawhammer is K4, every 90nm i've seen in my 10 min of looking are all *5, with higher letters being newer, L5 seems to be the newest.
white is probably simply the number within the batch.
but again, all speculation... however, i tend to trust my gut feeling. consider what i told you before steve, and know that it was all based on a whim too ;)
ps- i call dibs on that dfi nf4 of yours :p:
LOL...so you finally gave up on yours....:D Lemme clean it up first and then make sure it boots....Quote:

check my not so ninja edit i put in just before you posted :D
that 3200+ E6 - Z868317L5.. TERRIBLE clocker. but that might be a by-product of the LBBWE stepping, which i've never seen a good clocker out of.
Check again Shinobi....my post was 1 minute before your edit...lolQuote:

Steve if i find my golden X2 this week I'm interested in further testing this x2 3800. Seems LDBHE has no cold bug at all sooooo since i don't have a auto cascade or any cascade for that matter we may have to ship my cpu for further testing. That is of course if you want to torture a cpu that was brought back from the dead.
Look here. I can't really get a lot of Screenshots because the OPNs, Steppings and Serial Numbers that I write are usually plain text only with no images, and most times without the Serial Number neither. So, considering that you believe my word without the need of images, eat these Steppings from regular Socket 754 Semprons :D :D :DQuote:

Thinking about it, that X can be what identifies that its the version that supports x86-64. The same can apply to the Y of the other Steppings, just that the X is for Rev. D and the Y for Rev. E.
Recently found this too.
SDA3000DIO2BW LBBWE 0532 EPMW Z739297H53450
Note than that Rev. DH-E6 Socket 939 Sempron brings a Stepping that finish in E and not X or Y. This is somewhat logic considering that only Rev. DH-D0 and DH-E3 Semprons can come in both x86-64 supporting and not supporting versions while all DH-E6 had it enabled from the beginning.
Now why would you want my 55 over my 57? Lol....:slap:Quote:

I'd be HAPPY to torture your cpu for you......Of course you must remember, that my temps on my autocascade are ~10C warmer than a standard cascade. The temps achieved with my unit are slightly better than DI and it's capacity is absolutely unbelievable. FX57 @ ~1.68-1.70Vcore idles @ ~-73C, full load @ ~-66C:Quote:

Stephen, I see you mentioned the short run of BY mem controller opterons, which I have one of (0540 CABYE). Do you have any info on the BY controller revision?
i thought this was one of those "unlocking A64 CPU" Thread.....
it's a lot more informative....don't know if anyone knows what they're on about but it makes sense heheh
Yep, CACJE is an Opty 146. So, so cold bugged....Quote:
