Nice clock. I wish it could get that cold in my neck of the woods. I already have my comp in the garage with a watercooled setup.
fwiw, in my families city in the Ural mts. in Russia, it's -40C right now, and they predict -50C by end of the week! Single Stage Phase change temps on AIR, lol!!
C
That ain't bad at all. I hope mine'll do something like that, since it does 3.15GHz @ 1.45V. I'll just Vmod the darn mobo, and then you probably will see some results from me as well. ;)
It's under -14C right now. Maybe it's worth a try ;D
lol xtreme aire cooling
nice OC and all but damn dude is that a shed :p:
Hehe, that doesn't help sometimes ;) I tried to clock my system on -25C air :D but didn't succeed - it kept shutting itself down... either the capacitors got too cold or something else, but it sure didn't like that "air" :cool:Quote:

I'm not sure whether I'm lucky or unlucky having that kinda tempratures here... Guess I prefer the warm to be honest, not really one for dressing in a lot of layers. ;p
lol nice. ur letting all the heat out from your house.

Nice clock and well done.
I think it's a great idea to cool your rig in that way. I don't think it's cheating, air cooling is still air cooling no matter what the temp.
ı test my Optoren146 a little bit more :D
all on air
3428Mhz for now

PEaCE
wouldnt that cause condensation on the comp parts?
I guess if the side-panel is open, it probably doesn't... but not a bad question...Quote:

It's the same thing if you take a cold beer from your freezer and go out in the sun.Quote:

It's because when he brings the computer back inside, the air around it will be cooled down. And it's then you get condensation, so long as the computer is warmer than the ambient you don't have anything to be afraid of.
