this is true....well I think its gonna be hard to really compare results in a completely unbiased fashion, to much variation and too many variables for it to really be even. that was my only idea lol now....im stumped....

Those results are interesting...
Another time mine at 2.6GHz
Score: 39.6695

Ha, 37.14064 with my Dothan 760 clocked at 2772mhz and a superpi of 26.797... And AMD's are supposed to be good? :) I know I know troll, but still shoudl open a contest like this to everyone!
I'm thinking this Ratio is real , superpi is really proportionnal to the Cpu frequency/Ram frequency.
In the past i've done some tests, and you can test by yourself :
10X100FSB / 10X200FSB was 2/1 in result of time at Pi 1M (On A64)
Well what I could do is change the forumula to have the score (CPU MHZ /2) to reduce the cpu mhz bias.. but it will always be there to some degree due to the nature of the comparison.
If there's an advantage to lower MHz, it's not an exclusive advantage to only a select few so I say leave what we have.
ok let's kick some ass at 2.4GHz....
Maxxx....think you missed a few scores
There is one more point where this formula is bias.
The difference in L2 Cache between SD and Win/Ven equivalates to ~100-150MHz extra.
So that is also an explanation for why on the first 10 positions there are one or maybe two processors with 512KB L2 Cache.
This is a quick test I did some 3 or more weeks ago with some memories I do not have now - although I have other TCCD's that are somewhat better. Unfortunately I had some problems with A64Tweaker and I used SysTool, hopefully it will pe accepted as I also have the *.bmp saved in 1600x1200 resolution.

:shock2: Wow! That is a amazing time for that frequency with those timings (156.2MHz for the mems right?). Your dimms 1 and 3 are disabled? (In accordance with tweaker shot). Any comments ? :DQuote:

Stephen.. wtf did u do to ur system..
EDIT: forgot this is the famed FX56.. wierd ass chip.
Will update the scores tommorow or the next day. I find updating the list 10 times a day to be a bit much.
Cpu and system are working perfectly fine ;) Here's the best one yet - Sandra bandwidth...make sure you note the MAX bandwidth...LOL.....Quote:

No perfect way to score this little game, but fun anyway.

im at 41.71 right now for my score. time to optimise my ram (clearly) or just drop my cpu mhz for some 1:1 speed loving just for this list. will post SS when i get a score lower than 40 if i can.
U can't! :toast:Quote:
