The Vtt regulator looks like it is the same as the one used on the other DFI NF4's (and the DFI eXpert too). Its possible that other components associated with Vtt have been changed tho, to improve the Vtt supply, but without actually measuring it, its hard to tell.Quote:

We need to measure it with DMM or scope.
When OCCT reports it as 100% stable it doesn't has to be more stable.

I believe the OCCT screenshot was posted as a comparison to my ADO non-expert OCCT screenshot. It just shows that the vcore is holding much more steady now. There isn't even an ADO expert board that i'm aware of, and if there is, it has nothing to do with this.

uhhh man i don't know what to tell you. I guess you'd better figure out what the difference between "expert" and orig. ultra/sli NF4 boards are. Other than that i just explained to you in my previous post that i've got no clue about the expert board. its a totally different animal. and even if the expert is AD0 it most certainly has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the AD0 version of the nf4 we are talking about here. Nor do i have any information privy to the current stock of DFI expert nf4's at newegg. but on a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT note, the NON-EXPERT regular ultra-d's that i've purchased were from newegg.Quote:

sorry yeah I know the Expert and the normal NF4 are completely (well, not completely) different i guess I just thought somehow that the improved voltage regulation in the AD0 rev would have trickled into the other boards in DFI's NF4 lineup as well but maybe the Expert board already has these improvements as evidenced by your rock stable OCCT screenshot.

From what my DFI sources have told me, this is the case. The Expert was reworked to provide significant imporvement in the voltage regulation. Although the older DFI NF4 boards do not share most of design changes the Expert has, DFI did address these important areas in a hard revision to the older boards.Quote:
