There's not that many people out there who could actually build a unit such as this. Even Chilly1 admits he doesn't have a firm grasp of what's going on inside the HX's of this unit. He keeps on telling me that one day, he'll strip all the foam insulation off my unit to get an idea of how this thing is built. Another thing about this autocascade which makes it unique is the fact that it was built for 24/7 use. I would keep the unit on continuously if I could prevent my mobo from frosting over and if I didn't have to dry my clothes in the dryer (this unit plugs into the 220V of an electric dryer)......

dry your clothes on the condenser :p: seriously tho, that is one sick puppy!

Passed 8m @ 3700 and -47C core temps also, but couldn't capture the screen in time :rolleyes:

Awesome looking unit and results there. What week chip is that and whats the highest vcore you've attempted on?

Hmmm....I'm gonna attempt to decipher your question and take it as : "What week is that chip, etc. and what's the highest vcore you've attempted?" lol.....

Well, the cpu's a 0512MPMW and it's showing no signs of the cold-bug. The highest vcore I could enter windows was 1.74V - before the re-mods. I've been able to enter windows @ higher vcores after the mods and surprisingly, the temps barely budge. ATM, this unit's capacity is unbelievable. Temps are basically the same @ 1.65 - 1.73Vcore with a delta of ~4-6C between idle and load on the evap.....

Woah that was some horrible spelling, sorry. You should work for the CIA with those decisphering skills.

Seriously though, I can't believe how well that thing's performing.

I barely scratched -60 under load on mine, with a 2hp compressor, and that wasn't even as much load as you're pushing on this thing.

Myabe someday I'll go live under Reggie's stairs and be his biatch for a while and see what I could learn from the man :D

yes very expensive gasses, and there is some serious wierdness going on herer this autocascade sounds like a compressor inthe foam and also has a sound like a river in the head..
It may use teh R401 and the other low pressure gasses to act as a liquid cooled block... and do all the work in the foam??
THe captube to the head is larger than the ones looping back in..

Spray the board in laquor or cover the socket area with nail polish and frost is no problem ;) Or just pop the IHS and never worry about frosting again.

any one look up the msds on this unit, that should tell you the gases or at least the chemicals in them.

Good luck finding any info on it.....Most of the info on the auto is NDA and Chilly1 was lucky enough to stumble across someone who gave him an idea of what the unit was originally charged with......;)

did that they gave it a part number and it has its own UL listing so no go on the gas blend from polycold..

Didn't you mention the origional gasses inside the autocascade were highly flammable?

by law their should be a
"material safety data sheet" available for the unit. I,m betting they don't have the percentages reveiled but the base chemicals and gases should be listed. that may tell us something about the types of gases used.

What model is that polycold?????

I'll chip in to buy some "replacement" foam. LOL

there is a good chance this was developed at some university, anyone know where??????
