Nice Oc.
Hey tytlyf, what did you do to get GPU temperature <31ºC on the nvidia control panel? Mine stuck at 31ºC an doesn't show any lower temp than that.
I put my computer outside...you can see the ambient was 11c, and I had the side of the case off.

But you can sure try out :)
Yes i know that but It doesn't matter how much cold is my graphics card that nvidia control panel only shows 31ºC, it can't read any lower temp I think :stick:Quote:

Man, the fact that I'm already thinking about an air cooled rig to begin with makes it WAY to tempting to mod a Lian-Li PC-6077 first and setup the nicest/highest clocking air cooled rig I can...just seems like so much more fun to me when the cold winter months roll around.
Thx krampak...these results have been a great inspiration.
Nice aircooling results :)
But having a low room temp is cheating :P
Only j/k
Unfortunately its still >2°C here. I will give it a go as soon as its a little colder outside :)
I should have take it out tonight, we have reached -11ºC :slobber: Maybe I should try without IHS off and a cold night like today..
Krampak, I've tryed watercooling outside, water was about +3 deg C, cpu temp IDLE 21 deg C, got 3300mhz 01SE stable out of it... - But not air cooled, so aint good for or 1M battle :P - 24.969 though :)
That's pretty much what I did...'cept it was about -25C outside. At one point I also took my 3000+ Venice rig (on stock air cooling) into my parents deepfreeze. Not sure what the temp is/was inside the deepfreeze, but my CPU would idle at less then 10C, and the PWM and chipset temps were even lower, in the 0-5C range. Fun stuff...'cept my hard drive didn't like running at -5C and locked up on me a few times. :p:Quote:

I'm using a Cooler Master Hyper 6 (non plus) on a 40cfm's PAPST, I used a Vantec Tornado (92mm) for benching. It's a good heatsink :) Maybe if I should change it I would go for an XP90C.
why? do you not try with the OPTERON naked:clap: ??
sorry for my horrible english
nice chip you goy there, mine looks good also

I've just recieved a 148 with exactly the same stepping as the OPs, a CABYE 0536 GPMW batch number "0001", will have to see how well it clocks tonight :toast:
