hard to say if its stable or not so far though. its crashing in a certain sequel to call of duty that may or may not be out yet ¬_¬ . but all 3 3dmarks passed fine as has quake 4 and some other stuff for last few days. think its driver/game issue rather than anything else.
when are thermalright gonna come out with an xp120 that fits on a gfx card.
not everyone has pci cards to worry about i could fit an xp120 in there. , i'd say most people have lots of space for a heatsink that was ofset to the side of the card(so that it didn't go directly down and leave pci space clear. theres gotta be loads of people though that don't really use pci slots at all.

600 core at 1.2v and 700 memory at 2.0v
a little update. I opened up my case up to get more cool air into it. I was able finish the first test in 05 at 800 on the mems, but halfway into the second test I got artifacts. Still at stock voltage. I think I have some super 1.4ns ram here, lol. I guess the only reason I get artifacts when I do it due to the heat build up. Since if there wasnt enough voltage it wouldnt make it so far into the test...thats just my exp with CPU's, does the same apply to GPU'S?
When i saw the X1800 XT cooling the first thing i thought was: That must me way better than my Zalman VF700 CU.
I'm thinking of putting A Zalman 7000 Cpu cooler on it or a XP90 or so. Also got a AMD Boxed cooler wit heatpipes. But then i have no memory cooling i think.

Te First numers u see is my X1800 XL card Clocked @ 627-756. The second = my old X850 XT PE @ 625-610 Running @ my old VEnice @ 2.833 MHz. My XL was running on my new X2 2600 MHz Toledo.
Drivers: Omega 5.10a. And Nvidia Nforce 6.70 drivers.
GPU Voltage 1.250v and 2.0 for the memmory.
I have seen XT cards hit 9k @ stock i only got 8k6. Maybe i need to reinstall windows ? I realy think this could be beter. Drivers are @ stock Quality setting. But i think revieuwers that did the 9k also has stock quality. I don't think that 512 mb extra memmory of the XT is the trick to the 9k. What do you guy's think ?
Update:
I'm @ 625-801 now still 1.25 and 2.0 volts:

Memory looks nice tho. Could not get 820 working i think its the heat. I got a Zalman VF700 CU but i don't think it will do much better.
alright, I opened my case and turned our A/C to coldest setting. This brought down GPU idle temps by about 9'C from 55 to 46. not sure about load. Hopefully that Zalman vga fan or some silencer type will do similar temp wise but with case closed.
Its just strange how the mem will go so high with no voltage increase. core would work fine at 661/1.25v, but mem needed core to be at 1.3v  I think this oc tool is a little buggy. Thats it for the core oc wise, i tried 700, but even at 1.4v id get lockups.
I can see many people getting 10K with the X1800 XL with realy nice aircooling or simple water.

I see you got the memory going too, this 14ns stuff clocks great, I am running 3D at 850Mhz as well.
u think those simple ram sinks that come with the zalman 700 will be better than stock method of cooling?Quote:

Heatsinks make no diff, I have them off this card.
I was going to get the OEM Sapphire to save some money but now I dunno anymore. You guys are all using retail Built by ATI cards which I think is what I am going to get. Better local warranty cause i live like 20 mins from their HQ plus the clocks seem to be wicked from this. I like, no love how Fugger is using retailed off the shelf cards for his tests which shows results are good for the average Joe. Im ordering a card for next week as well as the X-FI Fatality sound card. Should be a fun gaming week for me.
Ineed o got just 9026 with 660-800 @ 1.25v for the GPU and 2.0 for the mem. 800 was max du to heat. Still stock cooler @ max fan speed.
I Got A Retail Sapphire X1800 XL in case u whant to know.
On What voltage Are u guy's getting that 850 MHz ? I can get MAx 810. I i do 820 i get instant immage coruption accros the intire screen. I think its all because the heat. Till @ stock cooling. Maybe i shoud try The Zalman VF700 Anyway.
any results of a watercooled gpu and active cooling on the ram that has ramsinks?
perhaps something like 780@ 1.4V / 800@2.0V
?
my retail sapphire was nothing more than BB ATI card with Sapphire Alien Sticker sloppily slapped on.Quote:

I encounterd a new problem. If i raise the voltage of the GPU. Higher Than 1.1v i get artifacts in ATi Tool and HL 2 Lost coast. I did not see them in warcraft 3, 3dmark 01 and 05. But if u try HL 2 LC or ATi Tool u can see them clearly.
Dous anyone have a clue why this is ?
i dont get artifacts in lost cost at 1.225v core. as far as ATI Tool, which one are using? I tried the unsupported one which everyone can use and I got artifacts even at stock everything.Quote:

regarding lowering temps, I was looking around reviews on the zalman one and the ati silencer performance on the X800 cards. And the silencer did a better job of cooling the core by about 5-8 degrees. Does anyone know when the silencer for the X1800 cards will be out?
i would skip th X-FI and save ur money, u wont notice any difference from ur audigy 2.Quote:

I played lost coast @ 590-750. If i try 800 Mem with 1.2volt i get problems i don't have those problems @ 1.25v. But i i raise to 1.250 i get checkers in Lost Coast. Regarding the clock speeds. So its no 600 MHz core for me from what i see now :(. Can't go higer than this. And the temps are like 60C Stressed or so.
Gunit I saw u ran 1.3v. How did u card react ? if i do that i get freezes all the time. And if u use 1.250 or higer With lets say 750-800 mhz for the ram. And arround 600-650 mhz for the core. Do you get artifacts then ? If i run 1.2 v olt and 600 core i gett minimal artifacts but they i there. If i go to 1.225 i get the cheakers from to high voltage. I find it realy strange.
