Man, wish it was my vapo modded like that! :( That thing is surely a monster. Can't believe you get -42.3 @ 206w. That is SOOO impressive!!! Nice work bro!!!

I am getting +10-12 C :eek: with my stock Vapo LS with Opteron 3150 @ 1.64V under Prime Load runs , is that normal ? :confused: :D Contact with IHS is good , checked and rechecked many times now :confused: What kind of load temps with same settings u think i am looking if i get it moded like that ? :)

WOW... what does vapo display say on temp when doing this? Seems like ambient temp around 22c or so based on PWM temp...?

Perhaps your sensors are not functioning propperly. I don't think it's the vapo.

It depends er1k. X2 tends to heat up cpu way more and will see number like above with X2 running at 1.7v or so. I am wondering if opteron is hotter than X2... (somehow doubtful but could be possibility)

PM NJkid32,Or ill have him post here,them temp's your getting are verry...how u say? not good! The tem's he get's on my mach 2 gtp are verry impressive,them temp's are just uber weak.

heh , did some testing with S&M Burn in on my Opteron :

2800MHz @ 1.36V - ~ +0-1C Load
3150MHz @ 1.64V - ~ +16-18 Load
3200MHz @ 1.76V - ~ +23 (!!!) :eek: Load.

Could be bios related things on this one. -40c prime 95 sounds about right for stock vapo lcd vs the voltage you are running. (bit higher by few more degree than what I expected) What CPU did you have on this before using optie? Might want to do the cmos reset full way, etc if your mobo is DFI. I found out that it somehow behaves different until full reset of mobo when I swap in and out venice and X2.

ok im not happy with the -42*c load temp...i got R-116 comming to richen up the mix i want to see -50 loaded 210w so more testing tomorrow!

It's really cool of you to share these tips, BB :toast: I'll price out some 116 and see what it's running out here in the UK.

It's nice to know which of the higher pressure gasses work well in blends. Looking forward to the final results with it :)

Will R116 be a good gas to add to R404/507 to make it colder or handle more load?

At $220 lb it must be really worth it
