hey sminker what cold boot problems r u talking about?
i have had mine up for months and never had one. By the way i am close to kc mo also! lol:)
My friend has this same board and upgraded the to the newest bios. He was able to unlock his xp1700. He could change the multipliers just fine and what not. His cpu is not a tbred. Found this pretty interesting.

That was the main reason i bought my 8RDA+.
What part near KC do you live in?
Im out here in Lees Summit.
I just did back to back memory bandiwdth tests using sandra2003. The only thing I changed between tests was the multiplier.
at 215 X 10X I got 3326 / 3124
at 215 X 9.5X I got 3203 / 2981
My system gets really funky at 2-2-2-6 using the twinmos at much over 220mhz. I'm going to go put the twinmos back where it used to be, in my dedicated folding@home rigs. They've been down since yesterday...Quote:

TwinMOS generally tops out in the 220s. At least with CAS2 setting.Quote:

Seems like the links not working, can anyone post the files here ?
What do u guys unlocked, FSB limit of 211 (which is now 250), or perhaps the fixed multiplier (which you cannot lower, 13 is fixed)?
Because I flashed the BIOS from E to 1002 beta 1, and it didn't do anything for me, exept allowing bigger FSB, which is pretty worthless, if you are stuck on a multiplier of 13. :brick:
if you are not unlocked, then just use the wire in the socket posted in the other thread. took me 5 mins start to finish to do it
Yes, but I see no info on the timings, so I don't think it runs CAS2 there...Quote:
I believe that was run at 6,2,2,2
I could be mistaken though.
208.81 7-2-2 cas2 rock stable in second config with 2*Corsair PC3200 cas2

Here's 2 X 512Mb Mushkin PC3000 running bios 1002 @225Fsb ;)

Your score seems a little low for that FSB. Heres my 8RDA+ at 225
