I heard a rumour not too long ago that ATI's crossfire could work on nvidia chipset just not as efficiently as on the crossfire chipset itself. Guess that was just noise?

Id like to see some results from CF, although I wonder how the 7800 Ultra 512mb card is gonna compete w/ the X1800XT, w/ 1.26ns Samsung memory, this is gonna be one intense battle.

yes - intense would be one good word to sum that up. So the 7800 ultra will have 1.26ns mems (512mb worth) also?
