I'm guessing at least a month. They're not listed on AMD's processor guide yet and have just begun shipping oem. Who knows though, one or two may be available in the FS forums here in the next couple days ;)Quote:

Thnx .....but TBH it's still quite difficult to tell if these new rev are superior/equal to the current rev diegos in terms of OC. It's just too early and not enough samples tested
BUT now we can clearly say that sandy&venice are past winni&clawhammer in terms of medium cooling overclocking .
Very good results Steve.
It has already proven 3700+ in air?
I hope to see those results :).
Congratulations Friend
Very nice results
I'm trying to get the 3700+ booted on air on my old MSI NF3 board but it seems that I've got a borked bios chip. If I wasn't using my backup DFI right now, I'd be testing it on air. Seems I'm stockpiling dead boards atm - 1 dfi sli-d, 1 dfi sli-dr, and now this msi neo all sitting here in front of me  . I'll see if I can pick up another dfi soon ;)Quote:

Ok, something wierd is happening with my memory. My G.Skill FF's have been slowly declining in how they clock over the last couple of weeks. I had first noticed that I couldn't run as tight as before with my SD FX55, but thought it may have been a fluke. When the 3700 was installed, I thought it may have been a cpu problem, but after running some tests with the 4000+ in, I'm probably gonna pull the plug on these sticks and RMA them. Of course there's a slight possibility that this cpu has a weak memory controller, but I don't recall being able to run any benches @ 300+FSB 1:1 in a long time with any of my cpu's. The only way I was able to pull any somewhat high fsb screenshots with 4000+ in was to use a memory divider  :

1.77 Vcore Evap temps @ ~-48C (I was doing my best imitation of Mr. Roadster, but just didn't have enough guts to try 1.90+ volts :p: .)
hmm... nothing special....
3ghz with vapo or something else....
nothing special....
I'm not too sure what you're looking at, but as far as I know, the screenshot above is @ 3.5Ghz not 3.0G. Please show me your cpu doing even 3.2G if it's "nothing special". Thanks to people like you, this preview is officially over  .Quote:

2.FX1.65vCPU verified and PI 1m result, not very good and I am so unsatisfied with this:

3. or this spi 8m WR

Be sure to pick any one of these 3 benches, none of them were under PCICE cascade yet. Or if you are really scared,
then just do some good or even apology to Steve. Or I will 100% do some defense until I am totally banned from this forum.

XS is abt sharing, not sharing and then charging for it!!
there seem to be more and more posts here from peeps who have access to new cutting edge hardware, which is a good thing, but I dont like the way we r expected to only say good things abt these!
:stick:
There is an appropriate way to post opinion on any thread without loking like an AXX :)Quote:

OK, thanks for the advice man - I'll be sure to remember that next time  I never asked for complements, but if you cared to read any prior posts, you'd see that I asked for constructive comments/comparisons as opposed to useless opinions. I don't care if I get accolades from doing these previews. Hey, I didn't even have to start this thread, but I did because I thought that my fellow XS members would appreciate a glimps of what lies ahead. I've always shared what I thought may be of interest to my peers and take time out of my day to do this. Up to this point, I've taken everything in stride and never let dumb statements by people who have no idea what they're talking about get in the way. Try to imagine yourself working hard on a project and then having a few ignorant people tell you it sux. Now multiply that by ~5 and tell me you wouldn't be pissed off by then...... ;)Quote:

I can't tell for sure with only two samples, but from the looks of things, it looks as if there's no cure for the flu in these cpu's. There's gonna be a few exceptions, but it looks as if there's still gonna be an epidemic :p: I can say, however, that it seems these cpu's handle the cold better than the few opties which have been tested @ sub-zero.....
Hey S7e, is that with the IHS on or off?
Fully clothed ;)Quote:

Glad to see people supporting s7e9h3n for the average guy like me unless he continues to use his own time and share the results with us we have to dip in out own pockets and do it ourselves.
I am VERY gratefull that he does these tests and shares the outcome with us.
I know exactly how he feels when some people have the nerve to post ridiculas comments.
I would like to say I really appreciate what he does and shares with us and I feel I am not alone, lets hope that in future that if there is anything to say that it is constructive and not destructive otherwise it ruins it for the majority.
All I hope is s7e9h3n changes his mind so that the majority can continue to enjoy the results.
These things clock like crap but the ;) after the memory management thing tells me you know something we don't... We all know the Opteron IMC sucks hard but can you ellaborate on the differences?Quote:

As to the comment we expect peeps to make, well we cant expect these things, some peeps r ignorant others r not, its down to the person how to deal with these situations.
I believe tht 90% of posters here at XS post sensibly, why got upset by the 10%??
Bcause the 10%er belongs to other forums, not here :)
And most of the time they don't have the fact or components nor the knowledge/experience to back up their nasty comments
