Did anyone have any luck in getting their memory to run smoothly at 1T?
If you think you have.....try this:
Boot Windows...
Hit "PrintScreen" on your keyboard..
Open MS Paint
Paste.
Apparently on 1T this cause a lot of people to BSOD.

Nononono...the beers are for Mr. Roadster as that is his work on a DFI board. I just posted the screenshot to show how truly extreme he likes to push his cpu's :toast:Quote:

win xp sp2
I love the board... with the 1.45vcore I got it to post at 2.6 260x10 but wasnt that stable... need more volts! Running water cooling, never seen it go over 35C. Not good a soldering, so I am going to wait till a bios is released that supports higher vcores or an easier way to mod the board.
480 for the equipment not counting case, psu,hd
getting 13843 3dmarks03, 6567 05... must say I am impressed.
LMK what you guys think.
Oh PI was in 34seconds.. decent but could be alot better.
mine is supposed to be here at 430 tomorrow and the x2 is sitting nice and comfy right next rto me, as soon as the asrock gets here its onnnn...
Im really liking the results poly is getting with his mods, im fairly decent with soldering iron so I might give the mod a try if I cant get atleast 260 I want 270+ but well see tomorros or maybe next day..
Tomorrow is gonna be 1.3V andf see how high shell go then burn baby burnnnnn
I have one running a venice at stock will crank it up over the weekend with mods
My friend has one of theese babies together with a 3000+ venice e6. Works great and all, but it restarted all the time in win after installing deamontools.. it said something about some bios plug and play errors, in the system manager thingy....after uninstalling deamon and installing alcohol120 it worket very good. Strange.......
I have a question that i didnt felt was neccesary to make a new thread...
Well i got the impression that this board is good enough for me so i ordered one and a 3200+ venice e6. My friend has a 3000+ winchester and he wants to trade with me + some cash in between.
So what should i do...take his offer or go wiht the 3200+ to use with the asrock mobo?
The 3000+ can oc to 2400mhz at 1.55vcore and this upgrade that takes me finally away from the socket a sys would be 100€ cheaper with the preowned 3000+ instead of 3200+...
He had some probs with his cpu when the summer came, he couldnt get it stable anymore@2.4 in prime 95..(dfi ultra and ocz platinum rev2). This is kinda a thing i wonder if not the cpu is slowly dieing on him.. i hope not.
thanx for any advice...
Hey guys can you flash the bios on this board with Win Flash?
You´ll wait forever since no such BIOS will ever exist for ASRock´s mobos. :(Quote:

Am I going to feel dissapointed if I move from my DFI to an ASrock?
so is this board stable at stock? i was thinking this would be a perfect board to ease my transition into PCIE.
by stable i mean 24 hour a day torture tests, looping 3dmark all day long, stuff like that
if it wasn't it wouldn't have been sold, duh!
I cant find where to enable 1t timings anywhere
so far im at 2.5 on my x2 stock voltages
250 1:1 2.5-3-2-56 2 gigs pdp
problem i think i1t isnt enabled, and cant find any proggies that will let me see if it is..
all come with a dll error
:toast:Quote:

Well now i have this board and i have 2 kind of problems. First i wanna be able to use the 1:1 setting cpu/mem so that the htt will be equal to the mem 240htt:240mhz mem, but i cant find the setting for it...Where do i find it in bios....At the moment im at 220htt but mem is at 147 cpu/15.....
edit: It seems selecting the 200mhz setting made the trick........
The other problem i have is that the sys feels kinda slow...For example when i click on a icon, let say cpu-z it takes 20 sec for it to opens..all programs take forever to start even at stock speed and all... i have installed everything i could from the asrock cd and my bios is even the 1.20 ver. Allthough i had a sligh problem when i installed the k8 cpu drivers...The comp didnt want to start(boot) at all...It was just a black screen but after some bios reseting(didn't help actually) and som wait(the wait did it hehe) it booted up... strange.... maybe i should install the cpu drivers one more time?....please helt me as fast as possibel...its night 9pm and i wanna use the system for real before going to bed.....
edit:uninstalled the cpu driver and reinstalled but the problem remains..
thanx in advance
I did 265mhz 1.5 2-2-5 1T with DDR booster and 3.5V.
Old install keeps my bandwith down.
Did you do a fresh install of windows when u upgraded? Have you made sure than ani ALi/ULi drivers are installed?Quote:
