It would still be considered jumping to a conclusion. They posted pictures of the card sitting in the mobo running 3DM05 but posted screen caps of the actual score. Those screen caps could easily have come from an overclocked X8 series.

I think the only thing you can safely conclude from his statement is that the numbers HKPC have are not accurate. We'll all know soon enough.

Anyone up for a Trubadur , i brought my Harp, and my Friend plays both the 16,24, and 32 Version Pipe , slightly out of tune, but nothing a good whiskey couldn't make up for.

If grayskull's started to post on the issue, gentlemen, might i suggest we keep our ears open...ati has every intention to dethrone the gtx in the upcoming days and i see no reason to disbelieve them, especially the weight the launch carries for their shareholders...

There's a few ATi employee's on other forums who haven't been told anything on the R520 at all, so it wouldn't surprise me if they hadn't told him.

If the 7800GT really performed that much better than the X1800XL, he would remain out of this thread altogether...but to me, him coming in and saying that the truth is coming...means that the truth is that ATI will do just fine in a little over 5 days.

WHY do I have a "feeling" that ATI WANTS these benchies with these X1800's to be "leaked" from different sites so as to make people wonder if it's true or faulse, confuse them, talking all day long about ATI - ATI did that - ATI has this - so as ATI to be "first page talking" and when they finally hit the market, make a BIG BANG with 24 or even more pipelines, e.t.c. and be a blast.....?....NVIDIA "dies" the exact same day..... ;) :D

The R580 will have 24 and 32 pixel pipelines. :)
