Actually, maiko had a better aircooling result with his FX-57 as posted here :DQuote:

what a champs :D I think opteron's get a bit more love from it's creators coz their actual use is for servers or workstations. keep up the good work japan :woot:
Hehe ok, a little bit better, even with higher temps, but a bit more money. ;)Quote:

Team Japan nice clocks you're the inspiration i needed tu try one out.
Great work, really looking foward to some sub-zero results too!
basically the same thing as a san diego, just named different :DQuote:

Or this Dothan running ~23s at 2999MHz ;)Quote:

teamjapan, do any of you plan on or already have tried dry ice or ln2 on these to see how the cold bug works out? Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and find out my self.
Seems nobody has ever tried yet and do not know anybody will try soon.Quote:

Probably, no drastical improvement in cold bug-- it is my guess of course.
Appreciate that you will bite the bullet and letting us know the results.
Good luck :)
Hopefully I'll have a 146 under my aluminum mousepot loaded with dry ice and acetone next weekend :) All depends on when I get the chip. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes!
Thanks for the reply PRTeamJapan :)
has anyone tested dual core opterons?
I think we might actually gonna see someone test them soon.Quote:

I posted some generic translations over at OCAU of the OCer from TeamJapan with that Opteron 144
The guy reckons the CPU didn't scale well with extra volts after this :(
some things the guys says about memory controller....translation from Japanese ;)
BH5 RAM requires loose Read Preamble Time and TCCD doesn't work at all (is that right) not sure if i understood that bit correctly .......DFI has a lot of work to do with some bios tweaking I guessQuote:
But, you have felt with present verification.
First, when former Winchester - Venice - SanDiego (FX) with it compares, with Memory Controller just a little being different? With it means saying.
Athlon64 (FX) with using Winbond BH-5, stuffing timing to the kalium kalium, it was operational, but when it is the same setting, as it becomes high Clock, it became unstable.
If it has looking at the picture, you understand, but unless Read Preamble Time is made loose, it did not stabilize.....Hmmmm Interesting
Perhaps, with general Memory as for each timing if it is normal, it does also the kind of air which is not felt but.
In addition, it means that why Memory of the B6U808 baseplate which is inside does not operate. (BH-5, the F-TCCD mounted item does not recognize)
With verification of daytime, Xtreem PC4000 of Team (F-TCCD) was the B6U808 baseplate in nF4-D.
A M/B manufacturer the same there be, being the difference may, perhaps, perhaps those due to the difference of BIOS.
Because Opteron of present condition and 1Way corresponding circumstance of each company product completely is unclear, perhaps, depending upon the thing and the memory module which do not operate the possibility of not operating is thought that it is.
Future, trying changing BIOS, unless you must verify, how it becomes, don't you think?.
Hmmm.... Doesn't sound good :(
I'll be sure to report my findings when I get mine :D
Wow if more socket 939 opterons turn out like this, I know what my next chip will be when I upgrade.
sounds like BP808 based sticks don't work actually. i can check this out, as i have a 1gb crucial value stick that uses the BP808 PCB.. i'll let you guys know when i get it back and play with it. i was previously able to do 263mhz at 3-3-3 and 2.9v with a newark and dfi nf3-250gbQuote:

This means I'm gonna need some non-BP808 RAM (I don't have any) eventually :stick:
More thought about it: FS/FT section here I come!
