Nice job OPB. Is 18 32mb going to happen with fx-57?? Maybe a nice run @ 3900 or something like that? LOL. Keep going.
Well, for those that are unsure - I'm positive that moddolicous meant 18min 32M and not 18s 1m ;)Quote:

OPB
It's only what you make of it OPB :slap: ;)
We didn't really want to see it anyway ;)
Mmmmm ... 32M at +3.8ghz = :slobber: Only -40 MBM CPU temps. Pretty mild cooling compared to your cascade. Hopefully the cold bug passes and you can get back to cascade. In the meantime I'm sure everyone appreciates your effort to become a master of DICE. Your threads are always subscription worthy and thoroughly entertaining. Thanks.
Yeah I've you ever done a dry ice run you know the satisfaction of doing a 8M SuperPi or a 3D Mark and seeing the temp change only 1 degree :)
Looks like I need to start digging through the stickies in the cooling section to read up on DICE.Quote:

darn lovely pis here :D
now u have to break the new WR :woot:
goodluck :slobber:
You cannot control your temps with DI at all. You are stuck with whatever your fluid/di mixture will allow.Quote:

I see how my dothans scale with temperature from -50c to -190c, and DI can only do so much. The fx gets a little better about 5 degrees colder than what the DI will alow. IF/when OPB gets a chip that will allow -90c, he most certainly would be better off with his cascade than DI provided his cascade was tuned for the proper wattage output on the proc. I am sure pcice has those things dialed in for pushing the 57's. Wasnt OPP running an fx awhile ago at 3800mhz+ with his pcice cascade? cant remember...
He was, but the cold-bug limited him to 200 FSB (or something around that) ;)Quote:

True, but in some instances thats a good thing I think, especially if the container holds that temp regardless of load and happens to be very close to the ideal temperature ;)Quote:

Sure if you want the max DI will allow.Quote:

So what happened exactly when the two mix, massive expansion that empties the pot or something?
