Looks like you got a winner, I wanna see some xtreme cooling results now, or at least water :)
This may be the chip that the guy was talk'n about. I know I know I need a sig.
Nice who's chip is that? Talk about extreme cooling!Quote:

Loaded?
Really Really nice! I wish I had some phase..But I am making due with what I have. Which isnt to bad..Quote:

2.8 @ 1.38V? Holy :banana::banana::banana::banana:
Yep modded vapo with 507. Try'n to build a dual maybe in a week or so.
Where do you see that??, and jot whats the die temp (bios temp), it has to be what around -1 - +2 degrees??Quote:

Heh -44 loaded. Sounds like to me the sensor (which is known to be not the best one out there) is located right where it used to be at (the coldest point in whole thing). Even rough estimate tells me evap is around -20c though. Which is darned good with the load. Going for 2nd revision of my Lian-Li with 1/2 HP Compressor this time. REALLY want to see cold temperature in single phase with these chips.Quote:

Here is a ss at 3ghz. I didnt run any tests I just wanted to see if would boot. I am going to burn-in overnight and see if I cant get my volts down a little..
very nice, and thats still on air cooling???
Oh yeah thats all I have for now. I am going to run a burn-in right now at 2.4 1.26v and see if I cant break this chip in this week.Quote:

Here is funny story after that though.
Chip 1) no matter what v-core the chip won't scale past 2.4ghz... it will LOCK UP trying to run dual prime past that. It took me a while to find out that 2nd core will lock up past 2.4ghz regardless of temp or voltage. Interesting... (until lock up happens, though even 2.45ghz was prime 95 stable...under stock volt) => sympton happens for both stock cooler and Zalman CNPS-7000ALCU
Chip 2) Wish this chip would scale as good as first one but this one at least behaves like it should with voltage. 2.4ghz dual prime stable at stock voltage. Notch up voltage (1.375 => 1.34) and dual prime stable @ 2.5ghz so far. Not bad (against stock cooling) From my experience with X2 4200, it seems like this will be able to go 2.65-2.8ghz dual prime stable with highend air around 1.55v - 1.6v. Not sure if I am going to bother it with too much until my cooling gets ready (that themal take typhoon is B*TCH to install -_-
Hm even with IHS removed, that sounds kinda strange. Maybe a BIOS problem ?
Damn! Very nice O/C... I'm Upgrading my Winnie! :banana:Quote:
