I've had my mobo up to 370HTT fully stable, which means I could get 3.3GHz out of a 9x multiplier chip... Since my CPU can't do much more than 2.8GHz I don't feel too limited at the moment :)

aren't e6 reserved for dual core chips? are these possibly rejected dual core chips with one core disabled?

As to the 3000+s being limited by the HTT, i find that's hardly the case, unless you're going well above 3 Ghz with phase change HTT should not be a limiting factor.

Use Everest --> Motherboard --> BIOS. U can see ur Main BIOS and VGA BIOS.

Are there any E6 rev chips for San Diego cores?

I'm still trying to figure out what the rev E6 is... I thought E6 was dual core. :confused:

E6 to my understanding is an improved core based on the current stuff which runs at 1.35V stock. It's also labeled on the IHS 1.35V.

I run at 1.28 stock :)

I still am not convinced that these new ones overclock any better than E3s.

It's just the heat output. Lower voltage rating means lower heat output, means higher potential for stable overclock. Just like how mobile chips tend to clock better than desktop stuff.

Maybe not what the old E3's were doing(week 16-19) but seems far better than the newer E3's so far.

Ewiz clearly lists product numbers. They show BW and BP steppings... Ewiz has 3000+ with E6 stepping definitely.

i got mine from a kid who bought it from e-wiz so yeah try e-wiz thats where this E6 came from...
