This is a know problem, not only with G.SKILL products.
Intel memorycontrollers onboard cannot do 300FSB 1:1. Common results are 275-280MHz 1:1.
You should lower the FSB and tighten some timings.

Sorry for the inconvience, this matter is also described in the G.skill product list.

It uses G.skill OEM memory and OC is around 230-250MHz TOP 2.5-3-3-7.
Overclocks pretty well for value memory.

thanks! But... is it the same mem? mmm Gskill page I linked above says it is extreme series not value series, and timmings are 2-3-2-5 in 2x1gb dual channel kit :confused:

OK. It seems an interesting option. Looking at the timmings, I suppose they are Infineon BE-5 or something :p:

edit: arrg sorry, what about F1-3200BIU2-2GBHX? they are initially 2-3-2-5 too as DDR400.

I've seen listed it in some online store for about 290 € (Infineon CE-6 perhaps? :p: ) (F1-3200PHU2-2GBZX is listed cheaper, about 260 €)

Because it is a typo, it says PC4000 in the pic thus it should be
F1-4000USU2-2GB HZ.. Unless they just are lower binned chips that aren't quite as good

yeah thats what i thought i emailed taiwan 30 hours ago about it but no answer from them. just emailed the company that i have my 4gb of ram from to let them know of the error

Damn, they are fast! ;) I will update asap.

Yes, NT/NS is all value products. I don't know the chips, because G.skill has their own markings on it.
I will test the 512MB (x2) value modules very soon, cause several people are interestest in it.

I read that F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ can do 223mhz 2.5-3-3-8. is that true or can they do better. i recieve 2 x 2GB kits tomorrow and i will see what i can do. I might even mix the 4 sticks around for better compatability.
