Trust me, it's right. My CPU is at 40 degrees celsius stressed on low-noise air cooling (XP-90 + Enermax 92mm at min speed). These dual cores are amazingly cool.Quote:

I think I'm gonna do this too...
what are the steppings on those chips....lol it seems that budget has caused me to downgrade to a 4400+ and stock cooling untill i get phase
uh guys.... here ya go, no need to babel, heh.

it's a sticky :P
and what speed/voltage are u running at??Quote:

not even CLOSE cuz it got so hot
which is why i have water now ^^
btw, just upgraded from my 4200+ to my current 4400+ which is has the exact same stepping as yours (the OP)
testing stability right now at 2.8ghz with 1.56v
just for comparitive purposes my 4200+ only did 2750 @ 1.623v
would you be able to pass it thru an RMA with some black dye in the artic thermal epoxy, ....or the method chharlie used to put the P4 HS on a dothan?
on a scale 1-10 what are the chances of a 4400+ being 32M and gaming stable at 2.85 ghz running 2GB ballistix??? This would be on a water cooled system(below) and replacing the 6002 with a G4 block.

3-5, IMO....mine didn't quite make it there, but I only have a TDX.Quote:

Very nice, what stepping/week?
yeah, week and stepping info would be great!
1.728 core ***sings to self*** burning ring of fire
My personal experience says 4. You aren't going for dual prime stable after all nor dual super pi. Single side overclocking experience with X2 shows me 2.8ghz are norms on watercool. So 2.85ghz seems to be quite reachable but hit or miss as usual.Quote:

I hav'nt opened it up yet since i've been tryin to find someone else with the same week and there results on water.
Test it out eclypse :)
Post the results
I got mine on 20c water, next week will be -40c water! :slobber:
Here, here! Don't wanna exceed 1.6v yet the chip doesn't like the 11x multipler, i can do 3.0 @ 1.6 300HTT, yet i can only do 265HTT x11 1.6  Anyone know what just plain BLUE screens mean, w/ no text on them?
yours is soo nice mate. i hope my 0529 RPMW can do the same!
I am stuck at 2.66Ghz with 1.47v the new BIOS for the A8N was far worse which would only give me the top of 1.37v so could only get to 2.53GHz stable :( So i am stuck with 1006 BIOS inorder to run my processor at 2.66GHz. Disappointed in ASUS i must say.
It seems prolonged use at 2.66Ghz has allowed me to get to 2.7Ghz, games play fine at 2.75GHz however there was artifacting in Generals.
hey guys, is there a way to see what are the temps for each core? I use Everest Home, I got NorthBridge Temps, CPU Temps, Motherboard Temps and Video Card Temps.
What is motherboard temps ??? Could it be the second core?
Nope, the mobo temp is the mosfets, it's one big core... so i don't think it's possible.Quote:
