im gonna have to go trawl through the DFI thred now to learn the tricks and tips for overl:banana::banana::banana::banana:ing that.
hopefully Nvidia will sort this out soon as id prefer to be able to keep a eye on the temps.

I've trying the new forceware, but for single 7800GTX, 77.72 is the best for now. The score is decreasing when i'm using 80.40.Quote:

Both drivers are identical in the Aquamark of the performance

no 80.40 driver
I tried my cards with the latest modded bios under DI @ -70C. Works fine. Sorry to say that the mobo fried my FX-55 before i got around to make some fine points though :( Sitting and waiting for an FX-57 to arrive.
you used this bios? 7800A10C-noPB-noHM-470-1300.rom?Quote:

Well i havent pushed to hard at the moment, i dont know what the safest max core for the X2 4400 is, i have moved to 250fsb x10.5 ( 1.55 core) now giving me 2.63ghz, 2.71 wasnt happy at 1.55.
as for the 7800, i am not comfortable pushing too hard when i cannot see temps, id imagine they are ok but its the not knowing. TBH i think you are lucky on air with the clocks on your 7800, 520/1430.
I have seen a few reports of other people on water who cannot get past 495.
Looks like nvidia are going to release a new driver that removes the throttling this week according to evga rep.
Regards
Andy
WOuld be nice to see my temps again.
on another note i can bench at 526/1380 (highest the "test changes" on the properties will will me do , anyway around this?) or should i try riva tuner?
i knocked it back to 515/1350 for 24/7 running, as i thought i saw artis on BF2.
I can se my temps with the modded bios on my XFX cards.Quote:

Should i overclock via rivatuner? and if so anything i should change amend in settings?
BTW when i use coolbits reg to get overclocking options, card doesnt pass 500/1400 in test :(
but passes 525/1380 .
