oh sweet so maybe it was a bios issue. I just thought my ram couldn't handle it. I will have to check out the 618 variants and see what they bring me. So timko, does fastest bring you anything desireable? lower latency, higher bw etc or does it in fact make the system less stable?
edit, I just realized I am using 618-2 so I have no clue lol.
623-2 works just fine for me, been running prime95 blend test for 2.5 hours without any error so far :D :D
Edit...decided to stopped the prime95 and tried to run superpi 32M, failed within 30 seconds....WTF??? :stick:
510-2fix is looking to be a great BIOS for my G.Skill LE 440s.
Running stable at 2.5-3-3-7 DDR630....
My G.skill 440s do not like the 510-3fix nearly as much.
I need to test with my LE 437s also..I'll post results here later...
I did some Sandra Membench scores whilst using 6/15 + Fast and 6/18-2 + Fastest and the scores were pretty much the same, varying by only 1point either way. I ran the test about 6 times on each BIOS and calculated the average for each and compared/Quote:

TY very much for fixing 510. Me sys seems to like this one most (2 that is), had some issues with 618, but this ones just as good as me previous 510-2.
Can I say that the 623 Series Bios is mainly to fix some bugs for the X2 Dual Core?
Awesome BIOS! Especially for my 2 x 512 BH-6 Kingston sticks. ;) Thanks for the info about yellow/orange slots... Now I use Yellow slots instead of orange because of configuration I have. Before using Yellow slots I could not get SuperPi or Gold Memory stable > 240 MHz CL2-2-2-5 + the fastest alphas and now I am testing my cfg @ 255 MHz 3.4 + 0.03v. And it looks to be stable so far.
Hi! Well, i was using 310 bios for a long time, but this time thought update to 510-1. But my experience with this bios was bad, i could't run stable even in stock speeds, SuperPI 1M fails on stock speed and stock timings!!.
I decided come back to 310, and all return to normality, i returned to see SuperPI 32M stable with such parameters that previously were unstable.
Well, there are 2 yellow leds, close to dimms and in the bottom of motherboard, I remember that before update to 510-1 when i shutdown the PC these leds stayed ignited, and now only stayed the led in the bottom. Why? My motherboard damage?
ok, after reading this thread, I saw 3 different answers, on what bios, goes to what ram...
I think someone really needs to clear this up finally.

Kunak, there are some general statements made by Oscar as to which bios ver is better for whatever ram, but truth is that you really need to try all three versiosn of any bios # and users are getting different results no matter what ram they use. From my experience -3 worked best for TCCD. -2 is good for 2gig balistix. -2 is alos good for BH or UTT or redline. I never had great luck with -1 for any of it.
