They are the M8FD, CT6464Z40B.
Mine are doing really bad at oc'ing. Even tho they are single sided and smaller modules, using the new fab method.

Are the M8FD the equivilent to -5b D then?
Now with my MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum the Ram runs fine. But 213 MHZ was the maximum, I am using the memory at 210 wit 2.6V and Timings 3-3-3-6-8-12 and stable !

Well, that brings me to the point. I stopped OC'n them so I can play BF2...but eventually I want to get back to OC'n the crap outta them. Where do I go from here. I got it to get higher, but not stably.
What should I try next? Looser timings? 2T? More vdimm?
I'm not sure what you mean by FBGA. I have -5b d written on the chips.
You know, FBGA (Fine Ball Grid Array) square chips with no visible pins? Like DDR2 and DDR3..
Are your chips square or longer? The small square chips are the newer ones...
It's not the name of that specific chip, just what the package of the chip is called.
Mine are identical to ozzimarks with pins. So I'm assuming they're not FBGA.
I need advice on getting it to OC higher stably. Any suggestions?
What worked for me was setting Tras to 10 and using 2.8v. I haven't tried more voltage but I probably will once I get a chance to.
Are these results prime aswell as memtest stable? Memtest i can do 2.5-3-2-5 on these things, but not in prime95. They will also do 3-3-3-10 250Mhz 2T in memtest for hours. But not last more than 10 minutes in a P95 blend torture test

[edit] but I should point out that it's not BF2 stable. I have yet to find my limits in that game and I'm not sure if it's ram or cpu oc thats the problem.
Saying prime stable is worthless unless you include the type of test ran, because prime Small FFT is radically different than Prime Blend, etc...Quote:

Thats what i was tryin to say J-mag. Think i mentioned blend test in previous post. The 32M Spi would do it too. Memtest doesnt stress the ram anywhere near as much. Gonna wait till weekend and give my ram another shot at 250. Would going down to 2T option hinder me much?

With tight (realative to the memory we are talkign about here) I can do 239 32mSPi, but to hit 243 I need to disable bank interleave, push from 3-3-3 to 3-4-3, and switch to 2t. I am not sure which of the three did it or if it was a combination...
Honestly I could care less though, because my main purpose of this rig is BF2, burning, and multimedia viewing (take this as you will) and none of these things improve with increased bandwidth.
BF2 doesnt even show performance diffs between processors clocked at 1.8 vs 2.8 with the 7800GTX at 1600x1200, so at this time stability at 235mhz is far more important than pure speed.
My rig passed memtest, prime, and 8+ hrs of BF2. So 230fsb isn't so bad, but, I'll try 10 instead of 8 as suggested to see if I can get to 250.
