Why are you guys so bozo about USB kb/mouse problems? All my USB keyboards and mice are hooked up to PS/2 through adaptors..
Before i shut down to install my 3000+ 0517APJW in 20 minutes I'll flash back to 615 and move the mouse to PS/2...cus yeah, I'm too damn eager NOT to try it out. :p:Quote:

I would complain. Saitek keyboard and Razer Diamondback plus doesn't work with adapter at all :PQuote:

Because that's how I have my keyboard and mouse connected to my machine and it's always worked that way. Why should I have to change that cuz the BIOS farked up my USB?Quote:

Keyboard and mouse (both Logitech) on USB won't work.
On the other hand, my OCZ rev.2 sticks seem to work better with this bios than the 510-3 one.
With 510-3, at 280Mhz, 2.5-3-3-7, I was getting errors during a short memtest #5 (not many but still), but after flashing to the 615, I got no errors anymore.
I used the exact same timings as with the 510-3 bios.
285Mhz with those settings seemed ok too, no errors, but 290Mhz was a no go (thousands of errors).
Haven't tested this bios with my good old Corsair BH5. Don't know if I'll have the time for that anyway.
Same problem too. LAN ports works fine, but just keyboard/mouse. I have a et of Logitech diNovo going to a KVM then to machine via USB. Tried other USB keyboard/mouse and seems to be the same. Pretty strange... Back to 510-3 for the time being.
No probs for me, mx 500 & normal ps2 keyboard. Haven't checked yet whether it clocks better or not.
I have a bluetooth setup for my KB and Mouse (diNovo) guess I will be holding off on this.

Oscar Wu has this issue now and I'm guessing we'll see a fix shortly. Nice to see at least one report of better peferormance than 510.
I notice the thread at DFI got canned about the BIOS update.
Just updated Bios, no problems for me. I'm running Logitech PS/2 Keyboard and Razor Diamondback (USB). I noticed that the USB mouse option has gone missing in the BIOS, though it han't given me any problems yet.
I made a update on my website so people will know that the USB keyboard and mouse wont work if they flash with that bios.
hmm. Will try this when all bugs are worked out and when i get a new processor. Great to see DFI updating the BIOS alot. Does this have memtest in it or is that just in modded bioses?
I use the mx cordless duo setup for keyboard and mouse in my ps2 ports but I also keep a usb corded logitech mouse plugged in for when the batteries on the mouse get low, my USB mouse still works fine so maybe it only affects cordless usb mice.
Just flashed to v615 and USB devices not working properly also NV gigabyte lan not working. :(
I have not flashed that BIOS yet, but those of you with LAN go dead....
Have you tried manually entering MAC number in BIOS? The # is on that white sticker, on top of the LAN connectors...
No problems here with the new BIOS.
You guys with the problems: did you use winflash or the flash image?
You using a USB mouse or USB keyboard?Quote:

Those are all my usb devices currently connected and they are all still working and I'm still connected to the gigabit LAN here, uploading avg about 78mbps, downloading avg about 220mbps.
I wonder what the differences are that would be causing these issues?
I guess I'll try seeing if my Canon camera will still connect via usb as well.
I made a boot floppy and used awdflash to update mine, used reload to reload all my old settings, tweaked the memory somemore, basically I went through and rechecked all my bios settings as some had changed, that and I forgot to save my last settings before flashing which I didn't have saved in reload.
EDIT: Just now checked to see if my Canon camera still connects and it does, can view and download the pictures right from the camera, so thats everything I have to test on my usb other than a compact flash card reader which I'm sure will probably work at this point.
