^ That breaks my fookin' heart man. I need to hear that it is the best mobo ever, even if it is a lie. It seems this board has really been introduced to the market silently, cause no review sites have heard of it. You were like the first guy on earth to have one.

i was going to buy the mobo... but now since it only has 2 locked sata.. its kinda pointless.. it over offers bios upgrades to this GB 939u i have currently..

oh well.. guess i'll have to wait for the Sapphire.

Edit... look at this pic... it was suppose to be the DFI 2 months ago.. this one has 8 sata ports, while the dfi board shown in the thread has only 4. what a rip.

They are all locked...don't know were you got that info from.....(at least 1,2 and 3 do, didn't test 4, but no doubt it locks :) )

How do you think I feel now? I thought it was the Neo2 having problems with UTT chips (like 50/50 of them do)

I'm still gonna find out if this mobo gives me a higher max Mhz overclock on the CPU, and if the booster works correctly....

3.2 isn't bad for a 939 AGP board; some of us were maybe expecting up to 4.0 but compare it to the Neo2's 2.85.... and 3.2 seems pretty good

I may have to get this board because my Neo2's bugged and Monarch is taking FOREVER with the RMA process, after about 11 emails back and forth the guy says he'll try to get the RMA approved so i can swap out the board for a working one... currently it's having trouble booting up and randomy freezes in windows. Reinstalled 754 board and the HDD and memory is good... :slapass: Neo2 and :slapass: Monarch

EDIT: forgot to add that 2 reformats didn't help, my Neo2 is just messed up and it randomly started happening from nowhere

If you look well you'll see it is more or less the s754 nf3 board with s939 cpu and ram on top. For the rest everything is in the same place

if they are all locked then why is there a marvel chip loctaed near the second pair of sata ports?

Just so everyone knows, an XP-90/90C/120 fit fine with the board. And you can still use the two SATA ports near the CPU fine.

I was subscribed to it as well, but all I get is this.

Just wondering it's cos AG and Rgone haven't got their boards yet, or did it turn into the slanging match that some of the others have.

Err.. I've got 6 HDDs in my Main PC61 case, and the board is completely clear. You just need to know how to hide your wires.

For the love of god... The NF4 boards had problems with the 4v jumper, as it killed ram. DFI even said so. They removed this so that they wouldn't have the same problems with this board. We're hoping that a modded BIOS will allow us who have an adjustable PSU to bump up the voltage to close to 4v, if we need to do so.

Tim: Thank you for testing the SATA ports out for me. My worst fear was that this board was gonna have a few of the ports not being locked.
