holy crap this looks cool

Yep... Castle Grayskull will soon be cool. :D
whoa...
this is awesome
How many cards did you guys try to get one that clocked like that;)
Now what we really want to see is the new DFI with Fudo's!!!!
ahh the beast is finally unvieled. i never realized how big it was.
wow thats amazing, and that thing is freaking huge... I'm waitng for macci to break some records with multi vpu...
I wonder how long it will be before Macci gets the WR in all 3 versions of 3DMark! :D
Looks a bit like David Kirk.Quote:

Isn't an xtreme Frostbyte a Chilly1 cascade and isn't that picture of macci with one of PCIce's cascades ?
Nice clock on the Ati macci ( unsurprisingly :) ) but how are you going to cool two of them down ? Have you got 3 cascades ? Assuming two then I think 15500 to 16000 will be the ballpark figure.

Andy
Yep - it loooks like it to me too, that there are two PCI-ICE's cascades and the Frostbyte was a chiller - no?Quote:

Waiting outside Castle Grayskull for more results :D
Perkam
The XtremeFrostbyte III is a tripple compressor cascade with dual heads built by Chilly1 and I. It took about 30 hours build time.
Each head has its own compressor, cooled by the huge first stage.
Chilly1 makes the best cascades. <- shamless plug
Cant w8 for macci scores :) Keep it up Suomin poikka !
...ANd you can carry it in a backpack ???!!!!!Quote:

there's something called courier services :)
Let's hope we're gonna see some results this time.. Last time ATi was hanging around with the living legends it produced no WR's :nono: :D
Single card score is amazing! Still having more left in the card is equally amazing. My guess for his score is something like 15598 if both cards are clocked as high as his single card is. If he can pull out a sick 3D01 score with that....he should have all three easily.
No insults, please.

People I think we ARE going to see WR's here.
Why? ATI has their own "Vmodders" ,people that can solder almsot like machines and would give even the most experienced Vmodder on XS a good run for their money. Besides that (as you could've read) the cascade seems to work flawlessly....
Think about it:
AMD FX 57 or something as a gift from AMD
s939 mobo of some sort. (DFI, ATI maybe ...)
512MB Handpicked OCZ VX or Mushkin BH5 RAM
costum 700Watt PSU (power and cooling or something?)
A :banana::banana::banana:LOAD of insulation, Vmods to the board, GPU, ..............
every single mod there can be done.....
:p:
You know what we really should do?
Get EVERY Vmodder from xs in a room with MAcci, OPB,OPP, Chilly1, PCI ICE and fugger :p:
Now also bring in some AMD, ATI (or Nvidia, you tell me) , DFI
and have:
Handpicked Mobo from DFI latest :p: Vmodded by all the modders, every single mod possible
same for GPU
AMD FX 57 cherrypicked
Now chilly and PC Ice make the cooling solutions .....
How much you wanna bet this is gonna spark , A LOT :p: now THEN we'd see some major WR's I think :)
I guess if the 6800Ultra SLI can be brought to 17k - Crossfire X850 XT should be brought to 17k as well.Quote:

I just used a simple proportion...10662 with stock XTPEs and stock 4000+. 6200 for a single stock XTPE and a 4000+ (6200 isn't exact of course, but it was my approximation). Then Macci's 9063 with his CPU and GPU clocks.Quote:

X = 15500 or so. We know the 1, the 9, and the 8, the rest was just guess work.
Sure, it's in no way an exact science, but it's not too shabby for an approximation, IMO. Not only that, but Macci should be able to use the 5.6b's for an even larger boost (he used 5.5s in his single card run).
i should think they are playing around with the latest catalysts as well and as per the hint at l'inq, that one should perform real well, so i guess we'll see new top scores in 05 for both single and dual cards, maybe even 03.
btw go macci go, get 'em records back to the old world :toast:
haha macci looks tired in the first pic's
best of luck :)
Maybe they're saving the 5.6s for later? In his 9063 run, he was using 5.5s.Quote:
