As dnottis said, it(Big Tsunami) is available at newegg, also they've had it at least for a month. I remember checking TT's site and then newegg for it.Quote:

Damn clips never gave good enough clamping for bare dies, my hyper6 dropped temps by 10c. :shock2: May get one myself (thinks about stack of 120mm fans @ home).Quote:

Wow thats a monster.. nice results :)
@ dnottis
will the TT allow you to mount to a "naked" core ? without IHS ?
I might give it a try ;)
No, I've mounted it directly onto the core, with out heatspreader. No problem so far and great performance. Really a great cooler. I've build this machine for my neighbours. I think they'll be very happy if I deliver it tomorrow :)Quote:

Nice, I'm going to order one tomorrow and compare with XP120Quote:

With another "standard" back plate they reached just fine... again longer screws would fix it, but the problem isn't the screws it's the backplate included with the DFI board.
Also, check your PMs ;)

so u have to move the rentetion bracket not on the under side, that the stock heatsink goes , so u can install this or can u leave it on?
no, u have to replace the bottom retention plate that comes through the holes on the mobo. The yellow one that comes on the DFI has short posts that wont allow the screws to reach.Quote:

ordered one from Newegg, looks nice and IMO will outperfom the XP120 I'm using based on the reviews.
so this one is better then xp90 ?
i have zalman 7000b-alcu right one ?
what should i get
xp90 or this TT BIG ?
TT BIG ftw
Read earlier in the thread, there was a link to a review where there were 2 dozens of cpu coolers compared side by side including Thermalright's XP90, XP90c (which in fact outperforms XP120), XP120, and Thermaltake's Sonic Tower as well as Big Typhoon.Quote:

Anyways, my choice would be CoolerMaster's Hyper6.
interesting... it perform @ only 16db of noise... :woot:
will it fit in an antec super lanboy?
