Those are my results, really not to happy with this as my loaded temps with prime on max heat have never gone above 38c with my fans practically off. Giving it more volts results in no gain from where I am. I was really hoping for upwards of 2800mhz because my damn 3200+ winnie does 2600mhz 1:1 at like 1.5xx V. :( Not happy, stay away from this tepping if possible

We'll see if I'm lucky at all or not with mine, cus I ordered my 3000+ Venice and Ultra-D within a few days of the 14th...and they'll both be here on wednesday.....I've never had a bad overclocking cpu or video card to this date, so hopefully things pull through for me.

Sorry to say it but you will proabably get the same as me. :( If not I'll be chocked cause they said this was the only stepping they had. Lemme know what you get. If you get something different I may have to go back into the store and see if they will change it for lying to me or something. Probably not going to happen but hey ya never know. :(

Just got my board and chip.....3000+ Venice is an LBBLE 0516EPKW...doesn't seem anyone else has one on this list, should be interesting to see what it'll do.

I have the same venice chip as yours but mines clocking like mad.

try using 5-10/3 bios and no more than 3.1 on the ram.I lost some clocking when I went higher for some reason.

Im still trying to find its max but im typing this now at 2520 stock voltage and cooler.

Iv had it pass pI and 3d mark over 2.7.Im trying to slowly push it now to its max with the least amount of volts.

Here's a statistic (so far)... CBBLE beats out LBBLE significantly... p=0.007, standard ANOVA

Keep in mind, this includes all cooling... but for now you can say with 95% confidence that CBBLE will reach higher frequencies than LBBLE. When we get to 100 samples I'll throw out H20 and PC and look just at air cooling, more accurate then. Plus who knows what other steppings may arise...

Prime 95 stable? Mine stopped @ 2700mhz @ 1.36v for prime stable... More volts didn't help too much so far (2850mhz prime stable @ 1.56v or so) Exact same stepping as what you got. If this is norm for APAW, not bad at all :P

I have bh-5 also that like vlots but after 20 min of testing they will get to hot and give errors in memtest.

My sweet spot for them is 3.10v and will run all day @ 242 tight timings.I can get them up to 250 but there only stable for a few tests/runs @ 3.3-4

heres my chip specs to add to the thread

lbble 0516 cpbw
dfi-ultra d 5/10-3 bios
stock cooler 1.536v in windows
2630 292x9 (ddr@239 2.2.2-5 1t)24/7 specs

highest air cooled 3d mark super pi 16m was 2730 somthing but not 100% stable.

With a new hsf Im sure this chip can do 2700 all day long 100% stable.

I am not sure about Prime yet. I ran it for 30 minutes last night. Am burning in right now and will post. That was probably 20 minutes after I got the machine running. I was just so pumped to have a chip.

I did run superpi, with prime in the back ground, surfing for 10 minutes and it was fine.

Got this chip today, result so far, also been gaming with these settings for several hours, so it's pretty stable i guess.

Using a XP-120 and 120mm fan @ 7volts...

Here's all i can muster with this thing, not the greatest stepping in the world...

3000+ LBBLE 0516EPKW

Idle temps are listed in the screenshot...load temp on the CPU was about 17C.....that's in my freezer in the basement.....so kinda cheating, but I wanted some decent numbers out of this thing one way or another. :p:
