I would really like to try one... the DFI can make you crazy ;)

Man Abit has A lot of NF4 boards for someone who was MIA from NF3 scene:
Fatal1ty AN8 SLi
Fatal1ty AN8
AN8-V
AN8 SLi
AN8 V2.0
AN8 Ultra
AN8-3rd Eye
AN8
Wonder if the "old" Fatal1ty AN8 will be released in new revision with the same voltage settings? cus i won't buy a sli card.. or maybe i'll wait for the sapphire gruper board.. i'll see later.
If you'd read the thread you could've seen it earlier rather than later:Quote:

Yes, i've seen that, but it doesn't say anything about the Fatal1ty AN8 2.0, and on abit's site there is AN8 2.0 info up.. but not any info about the Fatal1ty AN8 being released as 2.0 ... so i don't know, but i think that it would be strange if it won't be released as a 2.0 ..Quote:

any news about AN8 ULTRA specs (ex. Vdimm / VTT voltage/ VTT divider)?
is there some probability that has the same electrical features of AN8 Fatal1ty SLI?
Do you suggest to buy an Abit AN8 fatal1ty today or wait for AN8 ULTRA?
Heh :woot: :fact:Quote:

ive just bot the abit fatal1ty nf4 ultra
would you recomend sendong it back and getting the sli??
ive got ati card so do i really nead sli? :slapass: :slapass:
Got the Fatality AN8-SLI :D Cost here in Australia was 360 AUS$
Board booted up fine straight off, no cold boot problems like the DFI NF4-SLI that I have been trying to get stable for the last week
Still getting it set up atm and haven't tried any oc as yet. The bios does have a fair amount of options for tweaking the ram timings.
Have to see how my Venice 3500 will go on this board with Geil UltraX 4400.
Hurry and overclock already. Geez whats taking you? We in the states will have to wait until at least end of next week to get it. You got it and ur holding back? U aussies got issues :P
:D *also waits for results*Quote:

i can get 4v vdimm on my mobo with a custom bios and psu mod, beat that :D
Got an update for us there lowdog :stick:
have you tried some sort of overclock? could you confirm the values anticipated from tictac for Vdimm, Vtt voltage/divider?Quote:

Does anyone find any pics or specs about ram settings ?
If it has all the ones DFI has then this ones seems good.
Natural born tweakers want ALL options so the limit finally is hardware instead of software.
I think more DDR1 based mb's will come with higher dimm volt cuz from what you read on forum then DDR1 is not getting new chips, they dont develop new ones so i think we have to live with UTT until DDR2 is going to take over.
But i could be wrong about this.
These are the mem timings I'm running atm @ stock 200 fsb just to see if the Geil UltraX will cut it at tight timings @ 400MHz with 1.60V.........DDR V goes up to 3.55V

Hi lowdog
What are the max options for LDT / CPU voltage like??
