Nice Fugger
Jolli :)
wouldn't go for the nvidia asus as that has 3-phase cpu power instead of this 4-phase.
Can OCZ lend an 800EB to Fugger, so we can see him try for 3DMark01 benchies? :)....
Fugger and super pi???? :D very nice cpu
Just got the Pentium EE 840 and Asus P5WD2 Premium mobo. So far I haven't been able to install Windows XP, crashes every time :D Well.. back to work ->
Keep it up!!!

Hey Fugger... what bios version is your Asus runnning?
This motherboard was at its limit and I estimate somewhere around 300w ~ 400w load from the CPU when benching at 4.9Ghz.
The CPU should have gone higher. It didnt mind more vcore as I went up to 1.65v. I was ablt to bench at 4.9Ghz on 1.55v
My PSU didnt have any problems with the load nor did the cascade. My main problem was BSOD on boot aproaching 5Ghz. I tried with 24x and 25x multiple as well as straight up FSB with 14x.
what psu are you using?
400W from the CPU????? That's crazy.
I'm still using an a-xp, running along at 2.5ghz, and it barely draws 60 or 70 watts.
Have you tried using dividers at all? E.g. high fsb, low mem, low multi, just to show over 5ghz can be done with these things.
More like 300watts with all the mosfets roasting. NB gets hot too. It all adds up.

 !!!! Any 3dmark runs ????!!!!
:bows:

Fugger, stop teasing us =)...show us some more 3d benchies...AQ3 as well if you can =)..

I have a 2K3 cpu test posted as well
turn the graphics chip on up.
so is this 2 x 4.9ghz cores or 2x 2.45ghz cores?
Both cores at 4.9Ghz
I found this on Asus site, hope they get it working.

man thats some cray stuff. R u sure 400w throught the cpu is right?? thats a lot!
The power circuitry around the cpu generates at least 100w combined with the overclocked cpu.
It is powering two cores and more than we are used to seeing.
Running with the stock heat sink at 266x14 is fine. It can do that at stock voltage.
fugger you should put a cascade to the SB NB and MOSFETS.
you can try higher vcore??? or is locked
Man.... that's awesome  Looks like oc'ing the dual cores will be pretty tough to impossible on air or ambient water :(
