OPB when oh when can I purchase this ram?
Wow, those look great.

That is... went back and re-verified log book with fresh run... numbers same, 3199MB/s. Ran with 180 divider, get 3014MB/s. Also no dif for 2.5-3-3-6 vs 2.5-3-3-7. Point of reference, rest of major timings at that time were 3-2-2-2 (Trtw, Twtr, Trr, Twr), interleave on, 256 IdleCnt, Tref=4708, Trc=11, Trfc=14.Quote:

What did you do dif between 1st screen and 2nd two? (3297 vs 3199)
--- Ubermann ---
Looks that way and would be in the right range...
--- Perkam ---
Not necessarily regarding Vmem... only took 2.6 setting for 300M ;) My experience with TCCD is that Vmem dif from 300 to 330 usually is nada to 0.1V.

No comment to post 43? :stick:
FYI... you might try bumping Vcore by .05 or so, it can help sometimes on borderline timings for the mc ;)Quote:

forget what combo but secondary timings are what make difference, also MAL, etc. Never could get it to be stable @ 3297. One last note: if you tighten up every thing right and you can get it to work, you can get 3405 in memtest @ 2.5-3-3-6/7 :brick:
Why does everyone bother with Memtest? I use it only to see if the memory is not faulty. If I get no errors at stock speed, then I ditch it and go straight into Windows. And play, test it there.
Sorry, but in my opinion Memtest screens are totally useless and proof nothing. You can hang me now
*me hangs michal by his DIMMs* :p:
Notice my earlier comments regarding stability bro ;) Regarding memtest... it's handy and quick loading, doesn't require a HD (corruption possibilities during "hairy edge hunting"), allows quick access to the BIOS (no windows tool gives access to everything in BIOS), and is useful for finding a starting point... i.e. if it pukes there you can forget Win. Note: S&M can also run from an image.

You're answer tells the why to the dif ;)
@EMC2
You right, it's to determne a starting point. If it's good there, then off we go to Windows! That's what matters, who cares that I might be error free @ whatever speed when I get to Windows (ultimate goal, right?) and it's nowhere near stable there.
Oh, btw... If anyone wants to know... I just checked bandwidth on my BH-5 @ 270x10 5-2-2-2.0-1T and also got 3199MB/s...
that's about right..Quote:

i.e. BH-5 @ 10x 240mhz 2-2-2-6 with bank interleave on = 3026MB/s in memtest :)

here is what I ran from air cooled fx55(Mach 2 died)
below all done by only 2.63v(2.6+0.03)
how about 64 passed test5:

ah...aslo 32 passed for memtest 8:

so is that stable enough?
Kevin, can you pretty please run SuperPi 32M @ same clocks us shown on Memtest screen? 300x7=2700MHz DDR600 6-3-3-2.5-1T ?Quote:

EDIT: Or... "Memtest for Windows" screen, like you have shown couple weeks ago with PC4800LA 2x256MB @ DDR600 5-3-3-2.5-1T ;) That was some nice 2700%, (~60minutes) my friend
EDIT: Look what I just found on Gskill's website, press release... Whoever did that, props to him :)

So, now we just need a screenie like that, but @ DDR600 7-3-3-2.5-1T :toast:
Give you that tomorrow buddy.:D

OPB... please don't misunderstand, was NOT implying any BS! :)Quote:

Regarding my comments... was curious why the smudge out on wall time, I am part cat after all :p: But mainly, just noting that memtest runs, even 30 min or even 1 hour ones, is not a good indicator of bench (say pi32m or some gfx benches) or 24/7 stability for users. You know from your "race" with Michal before that stability for some benches can be a real beach ;) In consideration of you being a representative for GSkill and the total readership here, thought it would be good to show more than memtest runs is all :D
addition: Would also be good to state full timings for your runs, even if memtest ;)
414-3 bios gave my gskill PC4400LE a bit of boost in bandwidth by 100+ MB/s and a bit higher oc
9x 296mhz 2.5-3-3-7 10-19-3-2-2-4 with Max Async Latency = 8ns with 3200+ CBBHD 0445 VPMW winnie

Price: £249.95 (£293.69 Including VAT at 17.5%)
bah, thats crazy, you could get like 4 gb's of UTT or 2 GB's of other TCCD for that price, somehow i think i'll give it a missQuote:

I disabled either dynamic counter or bank interleaving (don't remember), that was so I can pass test 8, after that it could pass all tests as u can see in the last screenshot.Quote:

hmm, I think I'll give the BIOS you're using (414-1) a try again..
EDIT:I'm pretty sure that's OPB's work with his 0444MPM 3000+ ;) Well, at least we know where the screenie came from (lookclosely - right below "Written by Code Red.....") :D Hey Kev, ygpm commin....Quote:
