How many power connectors do You use on Your DFI NF4 ???

well the board plus cpu plus memory plus videocard only consume around 50W during bootup i think, so nothing happened. weird accident anyways :D
but it made me think all those power plugs are not needed... but i havent tested without then tbh, im using all of them, as it cant hurt :D

I've read so many ridiculous stories on dfi street where people couldn't get their rig to boot because of their PSU not being a native 24 pin. You must be one of the lucky ones :D

I can run my DFI with only my 20 pin Enernmax 375Watt Noisetaker but the rails are beefy for only being a 375 watt PSU.

My Antec TC 550w is also 20 pin and ran my setup just fine.

My antec truepower 460 runs my sli system just fine.

I use all four. Never tried with less. I also ran this board with at 20pin psu, but did experience a few unexplainable reboots. I also switched to the 4V ram option with the 20pin psu, even though I read it shouldn' work.
