6800 Non Ultra, Non GT, Volt Mods??

Do I need to ground the VR's ? (I'm sorry for another question).

well, if you done exactly the mod as it is explained on the pic, so you don't need to ground the VR to the molex cause they are already grounded ;)

I already posted a modified version just showing the trace leading to the SMT resistor so ppl know its an option :P Either one will work fine guys.

Also: If you do the mod exactly as listed in my pic, they will be grounded already because pin 3 of RT9202 is GND and pin 7 of ISL6522CB is also a GND. I just do it like that because it looks cleaner. You can use the molex ground also if you dont like soldering to IC legs.

Hello, I`ve screwed sth up on my asus v9999 card and now I need to know what is the default resistance between pin 3 and 6 on RT9202, and between pin 5 and 7 on ISL6522CB.

Bringing back an old thread! Anyways, I was thinking about doing these mods to an old Chaintech 6800 non ultra 128 meg that I have laying around and I was wondering what you guys thought of doing it with 10k vr's.....they are the only vr's that i have around at the moment.

Please can I get an answer...I;m trying to be patient but in truth I have none! ;)

I guess I'll ask this question once more....Can it be done with a 10k VR....sorry to beat a dead horse, I am just a bit curious.
