best can do for superpi 1m is 2918mhz at 1.73v (yes still using mem divider while i test the max of cpu by itself)

eva a friend of mine got one of these local 324USD, there was 2 of them with your exact week/steeping.. im gonna try to get it after he tests his pending his does as good as yours..

eva have you tested any 3d? im sure its stable, but im curious.

These seem like awesome chips. there alot of money tho. but just under 3ghz for 300bucks seems worth the pennies.

i have the same stepping as eva

CAA2C 0505 APMW

using my shuttle sff xpc with normal room temp air.

set @1.65v, reading 1.63v in cpu-z and bios.

the highest clock I can achieve is 2786mhz, which will run superpi 1M

I have done as you directed and ordered one from ZZF. :D Let's hope it OCs better than my winnie(2.7ghz) and my FX-53(2.55). I broke my winnies mem controller, so I have to run a 5:4 mem divider in order to get 2.5ghz on my CPU. Oops. :p:

Ordered the ADA3500ASBOX 80717-1.

I sure hope the ppl that opened the boxes of CPUs, labled the right parts 80717-1.

How many versions of the same CPU will AMD have? Wow.

Someone tell me I did the right thing......

If I get 2600mhz I'll be happy....I was going to get a 4200+, but if this CPU works out, I won't go that route. 2675-2700 would make up for the lower cache anyways.

wow, I'm trying to exchange my 3200+ winnie I am rmaing to newegg for the ADA3500ASBOX, I hope they will do it, and not charge a restocking fee or something. That would be awsome to get a 4000+ for the price of a 3500+ :)

with this cpu 'm using the 550W GTR psu and strange thing is

11x 260HTT with DDR400 or DDR333 divider

at 1.65v
will pass 3dmark2001
freezes in 1st test of 3dmark2003
will pass 3dmark05

at 1.6v
will pass 3dmark2001
freezes further into 1st test of 3dmark2003
will pass 3dmark05

at

11x 255-257HTT DDR400/333 divider all 3dmark2001, 3dmark2003 and 3dmark05 pass at 1.6-1.64v

hooked up multimeter to 12V rail on psu and when it passes all tests in 3dmark2003, my 12V rail reads between 12.34-12.44v

when it freezes in 1st test of 3dmark2003, 12V rail reads 12.29v (which would be still ok ?)

could be limit of psu ? or cpu ?
