BTW, its kinda weird, the bar for Rivatuner only goes to 600, I used to have it stretch further on my previous system. There's still about 10Mhz more from the core to be squeezed .

I seem to get a massive boost in nature on 75.90 but crap in all the other benches with these drivers .. :confused: That's ona P4 rig at 3Ghz though, will try them tonighjt on AMD.Quote:

hmm, Power Strip only gives me 532mhz for core, Riva gives me 600mhz, and driver settings give me 800mhz!
Of course this doesnt really concern me, but... I made it though '05 once at 519, thats about it, lol.
rivatuner is the only 1 for me!
uncheck the ocing box, then recheck and it will set your current values as the starting speeds
19k with nV card could very well mean 20k cracked with ATI :D , once ur done with the vmods that is :rolleyes:

so push it to 20k shamino =)

how high does it go with vapochill LS stock?
only with volt mods will it go higher. ive read many a posts of peoples GTs stopping at approx 420core, mine is one also, i get about 425 stable.Quote:

Unfortunately NV shot themselves in the foot this time around. Word spread of cold throttle beginning last year with shamino's record setting 600+ core runs. Ever since then, people dont even want to bother with this problem whether it exists or not.Quote:

Thx guys, why do you think a 68 is faster in 03 though? I've had the impression its like a ~ 750 core x800 with it at 600 core...
drcrawn, whether with the Asus A8N or this Abit AA8XE, the driver displayed is 6800 series even with a single card. I have no idea how some of them get 6800 ultra. Are they on the 66.93? Anyways with Intel, and 925XE displayed in the settings, anyione who knows about hardware knows its a single. Intel SLI would be with something like an Nforce5?
Nvidia is equal in game test 1, with Ati, and stronger in troll and proxycon. ati wins by quite a few fps in nature but the middle 2 seem to be weighted the heaviest.
we found this out by studying reviews and ORB compares, i dont think its new news.
Lardarse, when the cold bug happened on your innovision, is it like the neo2 and the card doesnt even work, or just doent work at full speed? if its the latter then rivatuner will fix it.
From what I've tested, GT1 and 4 is faster with ATI, looking at scores i 1 thing, but you must also take into account overclocked speeds and how far each card goes.
It throttles at default, still runs. I can't be sure tuner fixes that since it didn't have the option when I used it back then.
hmmm. yes GT1 would be faster since its cpu based and the advanced shaders seem to slow 6800 down in this respect.
6800s may be better in 2 and 3 becasue the ram clocks higher, nearly all GT ram (2ns) reches 600 easy but it seems to be difficult for an x800 to do that.
I'm just wondering if anyon ehas done any tests with DDR2 timings, say cas 3, 2, 2, 9 vs cas 4, 3, 3, 9 what difference would it make in 03.
