Would it be possible to unsolder the pots and hook them up to the side of the psu like the 3.3V trimmer? Or would this be a bad thing because of the longer wires?
Also, with the 50k trimmer, what exactly is the adjustable voltage range?
and another thing :): this 'll work for the 6700 and the 6701 right?

Hip: If i were to Remove all 3 Pots, and Replace them with VR's What OHm rated pots would i use for each line?
I do not remember the exact Οhms of each pot BUT You can unsolder them and take a look at them.......Do the mods and you are ready.......The Voltages will be as I measured with the mods..... ;) :)Quote:

Did all the mods to my Zippy and also replaced the 12V and 5V trimmers on the PCB with some multiturn trimmers that I mounted on the PSU's frontplate. Additionally I replaced the awfully loud 0.52A 92x92x32mm SanyoDenki fan with 2 Papst 92x92x32mm fans with 0.245A each. Mounted one in the front like the Sanyo and the scond one at the back of the PSU to create a push-pull scenario. Cut out an opening for the fan at the PSU's backside. Now I can trim 12V, 5V and 3.3V from the outside and have the supply running a lot quieter than stock while still keeping it really cool. Will post some pics of my mods the next days.

BTW, my Zippy is a little different from the ones that you should have. Mine is a special version, made for Tyan Server racks. It had less cables (soldered in some more), which were also much shorter than normal. Addionally the power connector is not located inside the PSU, but on the outside as you might see. But technically there should be no difference other than that.
