You can not read memory timings in Nibitor? All 6600nonGT AGP cards have same memory timings(for the 128Mb version):
Timing0:04090F0D
Timing1:05010405
Timing2:20230204
Timings for PCI-E cards are diferrent though.
I don't know to change memory timings.Guess must be specific values not just any value,to be compatible with the bios. But from what I know, timings for GT cards are more relaxed so you can try to use those timings.
Something I noticed now:6600GT cards have same timings with 6800LE wich is strange because GT cards have DDR3 and 6800LE has DDR1.
I think you can try this settings but I'm not sure if you will gain performance if you lower timings and rise clock.
Timing0:060F1B15
Timing1:09010509
Timing2:20250407
The chip near C39 is marked APM7313 MGBCE and the other one little bit away is APW7058 AG307Quote:

And please upload your bios -the makers of nibitor need it bad.
Ok,this one I can upload archived.The other is 240Kb
I splitted archive in two files. Please change extension to rar, because I renamed files to .zip -I can not upload rar files.
This is the second file
I tried some modifications but nothing changet
can you upload your bios,please?
We have another two chips on the card that have to do with voltage:APW7063 and LM393.I have specifications if you need.
APW7063 seems to be used for regulating power suply
Did you read this thread?
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...2&page=1&pp=25
I can not find those Interstill chips on our card
Yes i read it.that thread inspired me to do the pencil mod on our cards.U can´t find the intersill because it´s 6600GT and the layout is different
nodak,I have to come again with this:I need your bios ,please
how can I post it hire?
Zip it and upload it.Or send it to me via email.adress is seaman5705@yahoo.com/Thank you.Quote:

I tested and I find out that I can do 590 with just 1.5V,and max temp is 68.
This is better for me,since 10Mhz will not do that much if not rising memory clock.
I have another problem to ask you.My card will freeze if temp goes below 36-35C.(if I open window for example).Does this happen to you?
Have you guys looked at... http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=56779 ?
The 6600 is closely related to the 6200, but not as closely related to the 6600GT. You might want to take a look at that one. Good luck!
]-: <-- it's back!
yes I just saw a guide for asus 6200 pci-e here:http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=1915&s=1
nodak, vmem is controled by LM324 in that card.we have a LM393 on our card.could that one be what we looking for?
Most likely... send a PM to Conrad. He's done it on his 6600 and he could look at the card to tell you exactly.Quote:

I've only got a 6200, sorry. I didn't realize that there were so many differences. I was under the impression that they were basically the same...Quote:
