I'll go ahead and give you this as a comparison point. This is from that all stock clock XP run I did earlier.

Your cpu tests look fine, at least compared to mine, but the ones that use some gpu (drags and nature) seem to be where you are getting dinged. Makes it a bit tougher to point to mobo bios or gfx card. I know AGP b/w could affect those tests, could be something with the pci-e bus. Just to finish fleshing out the picture, mine was run with SP2 and 9.0c. Cat 5.1's as mentioned earlier. Hope you get it sorted, without having to go to a second mobo, I've been there before. I'll post up again if I find any bios settings that obviously impact the tests you are hit on. Might give you some more insight.
edit to add: I did find a few hundred more points in bios, but only in the spots you were doing OK already. Don't think that'll help.

if I got cascade on that, you probably won't see my name there in the 30k range. All my 3d bench are all done by just watercooling
you know what? if you speak more friendly, I will highly appreciate that. :toast:
here is what a stock fx55 and stock x800xt PE should get:

from Macci none the less. 32.2k if your getting below 32k then somethings wrong and/or you are missing alot of tweaks. I also couldnt help but notice your winny was 289fsb vs. 200fsb for your fx55 so hence why the difference is only 1100. Your ram bandwith for the winny was probably higher.
Ok , thanks geforce but i'm in desynch 133++ , so i think my ram is pretty close to 200 Mhz , my bandwith is not improved.
Mikead big thanks too ;)

Sorry OPB but , it's just a constatation , look at the jason/winnie score 100% aircooled and winchester , and look at yours , and you 'll understand i was right. :stick:Quote:

Sorry if i offenced you. :toast:
We are missing tweaks...and running XP. This is just for the sake of comparison right now. :toast:Quote:

For those who have problems with their X850XT , if they can't hit more than 600 Mhz to the ram , by changing my Trp from 5 to 6 by using ATI tool , i can hit 655 now , before it was 587 mhz !!!
I need a bios editor now.
you mean it was at 5 and you loosened it to 6 :D did relaxing that timing hurt performance any clock for clock?
before my max nature was 430 , now 480 , i think it's better :)
weird why would tightening card ram timings make it go higher ?
he meant losening it to 6 from a 5
oops thanks geforce , i've done a mistake ;)
Nice tip! I'm testing out the mobo more now, but when I get back to the card I'll give that a go. 620+ was OK with stock volts, 650+ would be great!
lol.. makes more sense loosening to 6Quote:

your atitool seems to be any japanese version.
These cards really rock out of the box eh?.. 650 mem here too...and still no artifacts.
The core hit a wall at 630 with def hsf tho :/
I was expecting more out of the pe core..
MR, that is interesting problem with your card/ mem timings. I didnt experience that.
ATITool 0.24 Beta 1
- Added option to control artifact detection sensitivity
- Fixed memory timings editor's MEM_TRFC extra options with garbled characters after the list of correct options
- Added option "Beep on artifact"
- Default profile always in list, even when profiles.ini does not exist
- Fixed crash issue when opening Memory Timings Editor window more than once
- When multiple ATI cards are installed, you can now select the one to use
- Crash issues when returning from standby/hibernate with Catalyst 4.8+ fixed
- Fan control is restored correctly when returning from standby/hibernate
- Completely rewritten Kernel Mode Driver, it's no longer a legacy NT4-style driver
yes 650 no artefact , 655 with a fan.
Mine is not a PE.Quote:

Probably this card did'nt pass the PE ATI tests with Stock timings.
I'm really happy to see it's not a bull:banana::banana::banana::banana: :)
I prefer this then a poor GPU.
