wonder what they'd give you if there was a problem with it, say you had to rma it? I can see them giving you a gt or something instead. Hopefully I won't have a problem, but I always think about these things, sepcially after my 9700 died twice (died for the third and final time the other day).
you guys sure it's same card at zipzoomfly ?
I heard if you bought this based on Kunaak telling you about it, it will only be a 64 bit model, or a remarked ti4200 that GFTi4200 sent back on an RMA and they puta new heatsink on it.
Just kidding of course. I just ordered another 2 from ZipZoomfly.com, I left mine looping 3dmark 2003 for a couple hours now. It still hasnt died, And looking at it, the quality's perfect, The heatsink matches up perfect with the Ram over the whole board.
It's the same card @ zipzoomfly, The numbers of 325/1100 tell the story, Your getting the killer memory on it. The box is the same. And even if it isnt, send it to me and i'll Egay it for more than what you paid and we'll split the profit. Deal?????
Im the Ebay powerseller/ super whore!!!! notice the powerseller after my name!!!
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...me=STRK:ME:UFS
A lot of other companies the ram hardly touches the HSF.
*searches for $325*
excellent deal !
Better jump fast, Zipzoomfly.com just bumped the price up to $339, and they will keep upping it as their supply goes down, They are known for that if people start hitting a product hard, They are very Shrewd. I wouldnt be surprised if it ends up @ $399 by tomorrow night.

Think long think wrong!!!
Installed mine , but it doesn't O/C very good - 375 is the best I got with no artefacts. Still the pipes and the Vertex Shaders are all UNLOCKED . The other big problem for me was the fan - it started to make some very annoying noises after 5 minutes of benching ...Had to replace the it with a 80mm fan , which fitted perfectly over the card . The temps are the same - 60C max . BTW the card runs a lot cooler than my 9700 PRO , and I managed to play some Hitman Contracts @ 1280x1024 / 8xS AA / 16x AF - runs smooth - something impossible for my good old AIW 9700 PRO :):):)
EDIT : I was just thinking about it - my card doesnt overclock more than 40-50 Mhz above default , is it gonna be possible finding modded bios , or even a volt-mod , so I can put some more juice to the core ??? :D
I can't live with the tought , that I'm not able to pass 5K points in Mark '05
just ordered one, should be in around tuesday, will let yall know
The first one i tried is stable @ 425x1210, the 2nd on maxes out @ 415x 1200 one more mhz on either and it cracks up. No matter what Northbridge fan i use it wont fit with the factory HSF on it in my DFI sig rig. I've got a small no namewaterblock i'll put on it, hopefully it will fit, and i wont lose any ram speed with taking off the factory cooling, since it is cooling the ram some.
I'll work on that for tomorrow nights project. Temps are fine on both of my cards. I've not been on the Nvidia wagon since a ti4600 came out and i bought it, but ended up switching back to ati a couple weeks later.
Hopefully volt mods on this card are easy. I ordered a couple more from Zip zoom, hopefully they will be the same.
Night all, it's getting late.
good buy there OCMYFACE and good luck on your purchase from zipzoom, i pray and pray they will be the same card as neweggs!!!!
if they aren't ill blast myself in the face :(
Just thinking if i really need such card....i have 9800se@pro....
339$+ shipping from friend in usa at least 16$ or so...355$....then possible 20% tax customs...price bumps above 400$....ouch...and to get non working pipelines/shaders then i can just hang myself...
Huh? This isn't a mod tedy. The card is an underclocked 6800ultra. Same as the 9800's when they were released (underclocked 9800pro) except there's no chance of getting slower-rated memory (some 9800's were 3.3ns compaired to pro's 2.8).
just ordered 3 :)
I talked with eVga at the Chicago ICC friday 10/22
they were very close lipped about the Limted edition but he was every quick to point out it wasn't an "LE" card
He also loved that "we" were so excited about the card.
i know i "should" get this one but i'm poor student....senior tho....just 2 exams left + degree paper/diploma....and i get good 3$/hour here in damncountry...slovenia...damn life standard suxors here.....so if i make 100hours a month i can't even afford this card ...pathetic eh ? ...lol
i have money to get it tho but just don't know if it's priority.....
thugsrook found out on the anandtech forumn that if you flash it with an ultra bios, that it oc's alot more. He got to 425/1.1 no prob. and before he could only get to 355mhz core
out of stock :(
at zipzoomfly ?
still in stock tho
yeah, got mine from zipzoomfly, should have it by tuesday, I'll post how it clocks, then I'll flash it to an ultra and see. I like how zipzoomfly lists the correct specs in case I gotta rma it I should at least get a card that is just as good, and so I can see them having to send me an ultra since this is slightly faster than a gt stock.

That's how I actually came across the great forums here at XS... I was digging up info on a GPU / DDR water cooling setup to go along with the LS, and stumbled on the brilliant "Online Deals and Sales" section..
Now if someone could find a deal on some 90nm amd's haha... guess I'll just wait until wednesday when monarch claims to have them in stock..
But I'm still undecided on 3200 vs 3500 lol.. back to reasearching and cross-referencing those two chips!
Carry on, carry on! :toast:
it says you have 0 posts...
im like you except not as bad, once i decide something is worth my money, i pull the trigger in like 30 seconds :p
yesterday i ordered my 6800 from ZZF 10 minutes before work, i didnt even check to see if i typed everything right, just trusted my lacking keyboard skills :x
anyways, i recommend you wait for a 90nm FX or 90nm 3800+ :bananal:
I'd say go with the 3500+ but wait a mmonth or 2 becuase 1.)prices will drop and 2.) most likely better ocing potentional + better mobo's
or just get 939 90nm 3000+..great ocing potencial
yo man...u need to teach me ur tricks :) i started a computer business (fixing + systems + networking) around 2-3 months ago. ive made a few hundred bucks so far. but the main problem is is that i live in one of the richest areas in the country and people here would rather spend 300$ for some known company like geeks on call....which are a bunch of nerds running around in little volks. beetles.Quote:
