Nah...Since someone call me stupid, so I 'd better just shutup not to cause any trouble here.;)
I do my best, you guys do your best to figure it out:D
so the board sucks or what?
I think what it is, is that he couldnt get his cooling on the board cause of the way the socket is placed different then the socket of the MSI board..
I really would love to know if this board is good or not cause i have to return it on Tuesday.. I have no 939 cpu at the moment to test it out.

Tried 250 wouldn't go into windows stock volts on cpu.The ram is at 2.8v 2-5-2-2 .hypertransport at 5 . I just really don't know where to tweak from here besides juice :stick: .The mem settings suck ass as far as I can tell.
Your HTT x5 is way too high!
Try it at 4 then 3.. 3 is for 270-300+ FSB.
The hyper Transport is only 1000Mhz max.. so try staying under that when overclocking. 250x5=1250... heh i wonder why its sucking.
So whats the deal
well it's coming up SLOW But thanks to Eclypse I am getting somewhere up to 250 x10 . Cas down to 2.5 ht at 4 1.55v on cpu .I wish I had more time for this one box but it's my anniversary and the wife wants her DK8N { Don't ask} :stick: F-ing board is MASSIVE won't fit antec soho server . So I need to find a good case for it today. Will try for more this afternoon. Thanks :toast:
heh dont mention it ;)
One other thing. I try to load windows 64 and get a stop error blue screen midway through the load. cannot get past any ideas?
havnt tried win64, but if your have'n issues.
1.) dont use dimm 1&2, use 3&4. 1t does NOT work in 1&2 even at ddr400 for me.
2.) dont leave memory settings on auto, set them specificly even if your setting spd.
3.) if you need lower than 1.6vcore(if your board overvolts like mine) for a 90nm chip get clockgen(it works fine)
4.) if you need a multi lower than 8x, see 3 and get clockgen.
5.) i wouldnt trust the temp readings LOL, cpu temp reads a full 5c lower than my asus reads and i figure it was about right(at least close enough to look at). system readings i dunno about, seem high at 28c compared to my asus at 20c.
Ive run 257HTT at x5 ldt and passed 3dmark01se.
Boards been rock stable for me, passed superpi4mill at 300HTT and superpi 1mill at 325(didnt try 4million). For some reason when i get above 2.6ghz it will crash in 3dmark, where it was at least bench stable at 2.7 in my asus. I did notice once when set to 1.65 vcore(reads .05 overvolted in bios to 1.72) that i was only gett'n 2.7vdimm when at 2.8v. Ive so far been unable to reproduce that in bios but it could be whats cause'n me to crash above 2.6ghz under load(PS rails are well overvolted).
You can see everything ive done to date here.
If there's anything someone wants me to try, lemme know and i'll try to get to it.
Saw a Chaintech NF3 board over the weekend here in Japan. It's 4-phase. They even advertise it on the box. Pretty expensive though: around $200 U.S.Quote:

Until now, nobody has seen any results.
One of your very few replies was that you'd recommend people not to buy this board.
Mind to share us the reason why?
You've left lots of questions unanswered. Hope you'll find the time to answer them anyway.
Jupiler--> I called him stupid for something I dont want to bring up again and I have apologies him for that.
OK.
Thanks for your honesty regarding this.
Must have been in another topic or so. But nevermind, no need to bring it up again.
why would someone calling him stupid prevent him from telling us about the board
doesnt make sense one bit
Enough bla bla, let's see some more results/opinions...
I have the S754 board, which is a good one...
It doens't go high on the Vdimm, but I haven't got the memory for that anyways, so 5:6 for me :)
Hoping for this board to be a trustworthy S939 alternative...
a buddie of mine who also got this board confirmed the vmods.
vcore is Pin 10 on the ISL65569CB to ground
vdimm is Pin 6 on the RT9202 to ground
he's sitting pretty with a 3200 winch. at 265x10 1:1 3-2-2-8@3.0vdimm and 1.72vcore with 3700EB 2x512.
I'll get him to mark up a pic ive got for people and get the vcore trimmer value he used ect for some visual aid. He used a 25k VR for the vdimm mod, actualy just took his mod off his 8kda3j and i believe a 100k VR for the vcore but i'll need to confirm that. my grabbers and trimmers will be here wed. woot gonna be fun!
have fun :toast:Quote:

Thats my board! Gota buy that again.

there's the pic but PLEASE wait till i confirm the VR values.
Hi, guys, I do apologize for the delay about this matter.
I have been very busy and working really hard with Epox RD
regarding all this matter.(I will have newest BIOS post later)
(If some of you guys read Chinese, I can post all the emails and link
between I and Epox rd supervisor)
ok, the problems about the board I got initially were as followed:
1.The Vcore options are started from 1.55v without any "CPU default " option.
So can someone please tell me which k8 cpu got default voltage as 1.55v?lol
Also, I even check with voltage monitor under BIOS, when I set 1.55v, actually it's
almost 1.6v.
**problem still there no matter I got newest beta bios(10/7), they change the way it was to like +0.05v~0.2v
Still no cpu default Volt.
2. Raid 0 problem with WD740GD, no matter I plug them into Sata 1,2 or 3,4
(Please note: Sata 1,2 are from NF3, 3,4 are from Marvell.)
the raid 0 always can't work properly even end up with HD automatically shut down.
3.my FX53 is rock solid 2.9g under MSI k8n neo2 for only 1.53v~1.55v
but you know what? I can 't even reach 2.6g with 1.65v under Epox 9nda3+
4. When I burn DVD, no matter which bruning prog I use, always fail..
So...that 's why I feel so depressed about this.
Again, I am really sorry about that!
here is the Epox 9nda3+ lastest bios I upload to my personal space. if you guys want to try,
you can grab it here:I believe no one has that yet.

Wow thanks for that OPB.. Finally get some answers on that board. Sounds wierd man. Almost like its just a bum board.. maybe just a mem conflict.
