Ubermann,

How did you get DRAM Drive Strength @ level 2 to boot?
Mine refuses to boot with anything lower than level 3.

I need to reset Cmos if i set anything lower than level 3.

I just can't get it to run proper, it refuses to run stable over 265-270 no matter what settings, not even 3-4-3-10 with 2.9V

I've been trying for hours on end to get 295 errorfree in memtest, i failed.
I keep getting at least one error in test 6, tying to load windows result in a BSOD.

You told me your RAM stayed cold, mine gets pretty hot with only 2.7V doing Prime.

Also, setting everyting to auto, it defaults to 2-3-2-5 instead of 2-2-2-5.

I'm 100% positive i have the rev.2

I'm afraid i got a very nasty stick... :(

Drive level 1-2 works with cpc on anything else is bad for mine.
CPC off i need to run level 4.
My is not getting warm at all.
Running 3.1 volt.

What settings do you use ?
You have -CO and i have -CG can it be that ?

Thanks to Ubermann's settings and some burnin, my pqi tccd (figure we can all use the settings so posting here) was at 300 in memtest (couldn't get there b4) for 1 STICK. :slobber:
Adding in the other sent things into the toilet :mad: :brick:
Slot 2 mad every crappy, slot 3 made it so slot 1 was okay and slot 3 got all the errors. :mad: :brick:

Will go back to trying tonight....

Now i'm gonna ask a real silly question, how on earth do i disable 1T?
I don't have this cpc option in my bios i think, could it be?

Maybe it doesn't show cause i have a CO core?

It should work fine with a CO core, BigToe had a CO core as well.

But perhaps running drive strength lower than level 3 is only possible with a CG core?

I had to lap my XP-120, its looked flat but it was kinda curved in the middle.

Post as much as possible with bios settings or a64 tweaker when you make any progress.

From eva2000 i learned that you should run bypass max "7" (it gives some boost)
And trrd,twr,twtr and trtw should be set to "2"

They are the last 4 setting before the Refresh Period of 4708.

Took me to 34 sec in superpi.

Do you have a setting in bios called "CPC" or something?
If so, where can i find it?

I just don't believe i've overlooked it, been into bios a zillion times last days.

From the pics i have seen with bigtoes he has no cpc either in bios.
What does it show when you boot ? (disable the lanparty screen)

Command per clock, the line below what divider you choose (200 1/01)

Try this if your not happy =)

"Write CAS latency : 5 bus clocks" Put it to "auto"
Bypass max: 4x (put it to 7)
Dram drive strength :2

You can run cas 2.5 instead, its good up to 310FSB i think.

Gonna make a pic you can use if you have a printer when writing down bios settings, might be a bit more easy.

Tried Write Cas Latency at auto, it didn't make a difference, i just cannot get DRAM Drive Strength any lower than level 3!! :mad: :mad:

I think if i can get that to level 2 or even 1 it will allow me to go higher.

It just doesn't post if i go lower than level 3.

Genie-> RAM settings-> Under speed, above CAS.

Of course I have only CGs, so I don't know if there is any effect otherwise :shrug:

Zeus since you have the CO (like me) there is no CPC option in the bios at all ;)

right - C0-stepping only uses 1T / CPC-on ;)

This is the most optimal setting for my CPU and RAM i think.
If anyone can point out what to change to get it faster consider 2.4 is max CPU then plz tell me.

I see, i really felt stupid not being able to find this option. :ROTF:

That's a nice piece of log Uber, i will print and use it. ;)

I had contact with OCZ and the told me i could RMA if i had the feeling something is wrong with this mem.

I'm gonna attach a probe to the heatspreader and run Prime yo see how hot it gets, i estimate 45-50C. :eek: not good.

If you want high mem speeds like Ubermann you have to score a CG.
C0 core only support 1T mem timings...CG both 2 en 1.

I only use T2 when having fun.

What's the highest you can go with 1T Uber?

3-4-4-10 should be stable at 310.
I primed there for an hour ones then gave up.
2.5-4-5 is ok at 300 i think

Max i booted windows with at T1 is 325.
