I was just looking for a A8V that could get bios updates and still have the locks. The next board I try will be the DFI 939 mostly for the voltages. I do think that it i pretty apparent form all reports that all the 939 boards are so far very inconsitant from one to the next, and fairly pciky about what memory is run.
Then don't say a board us crap just because you can't get it to work. Frankly, I can run circles around the Asus with the gigabyte and its more stable. A more honest and accurate response is that you couldn't get it to run right. I've run both bh-5 and eb with very good success with this board. I've also ran the Asus with good success. I was able to run the Abit with moderate succcess until I lost it to condensation. All of these boards will run resonably well if you take the time to figure them out. The giga is just faster and more stable
