Its been shown to make a decent 15% diff.
I think the 3100+ will be £85 i think and a 2800+ faster, is £95. I would recommend, even if it takes a age to get M$ to release it, get a cpu that supports it.
Yes I totally agree but I mean't just as a stop gap until someone can afford an FX, because 580 pounds (overclockers.co.uk) is ALOT of money
